Sir huge respect from Pakistan. I always find Chapman to be very complex and hard to grasp. I really acknowledge and appreciate the time you spent mastering those concepts and then recording tutorial videos.
I just finished whole lecture on synchronous motors and planning to complete other chapters from chapman through your direction. You are doing great job, sir 😊❤️🇧🇩
Hi Varun, Just a note a note for you and your students, I am so happy with your teachings, I wanted to let you know that I spent about 5 times more time on Synchronous Generators than I'm spending now on motors. By going over and over the Sync Generators and making sure I got every word of what you said there I'm finding the motors a little easier to digest for the obvious reasons. Is the Facebook page alive and well? If so I would very much like to join in. Larry
Sir we had short circuited the field winding before dc excitation that's good but after some time we have to give dc excitation to the field winding then We have to remove short circuit and we have to connect a dc source to the winding but while removing short circuit we will definitely get sparks due to large inducted emf so my doubt is how we can remove that short circuit and how we connect a dc source. Is there any electronic switch? What is the switch involved in that case without sparking? Can you please explain me sir....
Hai Varun, In BL Theraja, it is saying that in this method of starting of synchronous motor using damper winding, we have to apply low voltage to the stator winding of the motor first. And once it is in synchronism, full voltage should be applied. This voltage adjustment can be done by using an autotransformer. But here in this video you didn't mentioned the same. So without varying the voltage will it work out? And if then, why we need to vary the voltage? It is not clear in that book also, Can you please clear my doubt Varun
I don't know why your channel is so low in the search results. You explain so much better than all the other RUclipsrs. Thank you kindly.
Glad to be of help....You can share the videos and spread the word...
I don't know what to say, I got addicted to your videos. Thanks.
😁😁
So amazing teaching style. very clear and effective explanation. Easily understandable. Thanks a lot to you.
Thank you so much....do also consider sharing the videos with anyone who might find them helpful.

very beautifully taught.... enjoyed it....
Excellent videos sir,u taught all the machines fentastic sir.thanks a lot sir

Hats of to you sir..
Huge Respect
Are there any lectures available for salient pole synchronous machines?
Amazing and clear explanation... Will u upload the power system course sir??
Amazing 💞💞
sir please provide a lecture on starting of induction motor...
Induction motors will.come after finishing transformer

Nice
quite well... great....
Thanks for the lecture.
Do you have tutorials concerning
1) power protection system
2) electrical drive system
If so plz share the link...
No I am sorry...

I am not sure about that.. in the book I referred nothing was mentioned like that
Have u already discussed about special m/c ???? If so plz share the link sir
Nope I havent
Sir, how the relative velocity of conductors is opposite to Bs at t=2/200 and t=4/200?
Sorry, at t=1/200 and t=3/200
