Great video. Just a few things to help you out. When John was shot, the red around the outside of the screen means you are injured and need to bandage. To grab the bandage, use the numbers along the top of the keyboard to select the item, the same way you use the hotbar in Dayz. Saline bags help when you've lost blood and morphine helps when you have a broken arm/leg. You can't hold your breath like in Dayz either, your gun will sway more if you're fatigued (just been running), as well as it sways more when standing then what it does when crouching and then prone has the least sway.
I'm really glad you're playing vanilla. Because everyone is playing modded and using clickbait (no game name) titles, which isn't a great representation of the actual game, most people will be playing due to server queue times. Thanks, guys. Great video!

I play with my boys all the time. But play solo just as good when they are not on. Sabotaging the enemy bases, creeping in and dissasembling radio signals. Blowing up vehicles as they leave their base. Place plastic explosives on the helipads waiting for them to spawn one in. I hate when people say you cant play solo, u clearly can, its just a skill issue
@ i got loads of fun listening to enemy radio, being balls deep in their base, taking them out 1 by 1 😂 and when u hear them yelling there is lots of them here, we need backup- that shit is just tooo funny
I always do in Arma Server some trolling. Its the best with friends ore allone. For allone my tip is take the smallest car you don't wanna get detectet and fill it with supplies. Also Take a marksmann rifel and a normale one.

Just a heads up, if youre looking for where to spawn by clicking through the map options one by one, you can actualy just click on the location you want to spawn at to make it easier to find. Simple tip but makes things a little easier
just brought this game to play w my brother, id say about 10% of the gameplay was shooting enemies, the other 90% was ramming into each other with cars. 10/10 game
@@georgiaboi7193 Thats the Arma Netcode, its why you desync sometimes in vehicles and warp around. The higher the server FPS the less desync. Also if you have above 100 ping your gonna have a rougher time.
Because people are used to fast paced point & click shooters. They don't realize that you aren't supposed to be a one-man army in ARMA games, you're just a regular old meat bag of a soldier.

I’ve been playing on console for about 2 weeks and I can tell you now I’ve never experienced such movie like scenic situations happen to me whilst gaming in my life, this and he’ll let loose are my favourite games ever
They just need to make the hit reactions when shot / landing shots that little bit more intuitive and it will be a pretty much done deal. Even an extremely light implementation of a euphoria ragdoll style system (little like GTA IV) and some directional force added to projectiles to send units stumbling would make a world of difference. Imagine body shots to a vest physically pushing a character backwards, maybe even knocking them over but them still surviving due to the armour absorbing the fatal impact. If they want to get super technical, maybe add a 'winded' state where stamina is sapped and a unit cannot sprint because they've literally had the air knocked out of the lungs or are in a state of physical shock.
If I could consistently find chill people to play with I'd be on every day, but I encounter a lot of the "I've never been in a position of power so this is my chance to yell at people" peeps.
quick tip, for meds just press 6 and R as it will bring it out and use it without being in inventory as sometimes u cant get out it quick enough if someone is near.
Vehicle inventory normally comes with repair tool, use that to do minor repairs 32:05 and then you can take it back to a friendly base that has a vehicle depot or repair/construction truck and do actual major repairs there.
Just got Arma Reforgerand am working on the learning process. Got my first death behind me right out the gate when I got team killed because some little 💩 didn’t think I should be setting up my save load out 🤣🤣🤣

For me dayz has just started to ware on me a bit. I still play it when I have time, but I find myself playing Reforger more and more. People are starting to figure out (somewhat) how to mod the game and make it an enjoyable experience. I still haven’t found a home server like on previous arma games and dayz.
you can cap solo just run there supplies down by killing people then push in to a good spot to kill more if any do spawn they will only spawn around the tent that looks like its got a radio sticking out the top forgot the name lol
I've played this game on Xbox and PC since it came out and it's great to see it finally taking off but it's also wonderful fun killing all the new players who have no idea what they're doing kind of like a dayz free weekend but every day especially much better than you get some new meet on the modded servers it's like a turkey shoot 😂😂😂😂 awesome video as usual

There are a plethora of roles you can fill. I'm going to ferry troops back and forth to the front line. I plan on avoiding engagements.

10/10 game, spawned in got a ride to “Alaska” someone friendly fired us then I was back at Vermont
