Hardcore Nuzlocke Rules:
1. All fainted Pokemon must be permaboxed.
2. No overleveling past the Gym Leaders/Elite 4s ace, level ups in battle are accepted.
3. No in game items allowed. Held items are accepted though.
4. Game mode must be on Set mode.
5. Species/dupes clause.

There’s a setting in the randomizer for “randomize to similar power” which will randomize Pokémon to be more in line with the base stat total of the Pokémon they were randomized from. For example Roark’s geodude might be randomized to an oddish or a corsola instead of a groudon and Cynthia’s garchomp will be randomized to something like deoxsys instead of something like whismur.

@@sircloudoof9559 idk deoxys alwasy scared the crap out of me for whatever reason, also Garchomp is pretty easy to down with an ice type move, deoxys can be kinda tricky.

1: Your encounters can only be Ash’s team depending on the region you play in. For example Galar would use his Journey Team. And a Kanto Team could look like this

2: You must use the move sets Each Pokémon had for example

2B: You also cannot evolve past what Ash has.
For example since he has only Pignite. You cannot evolve past Pignite.
3: If a Pokémon faints it dies it must be forever boxed or released.
4: NO healing items in battle! Hold Items are ok.
5: black/White outs are a Game Over And you must redo the run absolutely NO Save Scumming Or a run is disqualified!!!
6: in cases where Ash has no Starters. Port in a Pikachu that’s your starter!
7: The challenge begins As soon as you get your first Pokémon and enter your first battle
So wait… you kept a fighting type in on a flying type… saw that it hit you with a rock move against your flying type and kept it in… when you had a mon with an ice move..?
