    I've been building one myself. I built the frame and added casters to the front and just got my two 12v batteries from a parted out scooter but to finish I need two motors with rear wheels, arduino and 5 channel controller. Its been going on for a several months now.

    Props man. I like that a lot. Now that's a rc mower where somebody actually put some thought into it. Now about your blade speed not being fast enough to sling the grass into the catch. Do you thing the main motor would spin it faster if you changed the outside gear to a bigger sprocket? Just a thought. I like that man. Great design

      Hello Rupesh, to power the reel: www.andymark.com/CIM-Motor-p/am-0255.htm but the motors i used to drive the unit is no longer available from: www.surpluscenter.com/Electric-Motors

    Oh ok. You don't think the temp could of been reduced? I understand what you're saying about new vs old motors and efficiency. Do you think chain tension and gear ratio plays a role in temp? Maybe that can reduce the heat by the load. I was suggesting a bigger sprocket above the actuator on the side of the mower. I can't really tell how much room you have there tho. I'll check out your other vids.
