- Join us for our Erev Shabbat service We will be going through the weekly teachings from Monte Judah. The portion “Behar,” meaning "on Mount [Sinai]," addresses the Sabbatical year, which occurs once every 7 years, and the Jubilee year, occurring once every 50 years. "Behar" also contains additional laws governing the sale of lands and the prohibitions against fraud and usury. It also details the laws of redemption - how a man can be purchased out of a difficult situation. The concept of 'redemption' is not just payment for the slavery to sin but also deals with the poor among us.

Monte, with all due respect, the Yovel can't be the first year of the next cycle. "Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its crop". This would create a contradiction. The Yovel should be a completely separeted year.
This also would give us 50y cycles, resulting now we are approaching the 40th Yovel since the cross.
This must mean something.
Brother, out of respect how do we apply this to our life? we are not farmers. We live in a apartment very small yard in the back?

What are your thoughts about Yeshua starting his ministry in a jubilee year and also returning at his Second Coming in a jubilee year? Then, it's just simple math. It's really not that difficult.
Its definitely plausible and would make sense. This would also still fit with Yeshua's statement in Matthew 24 regarding knowing the day or the hour. We may not know the day or the hour, but it could be possible to know the year.
