You're the man brother, you inspire all of us in our mid 30-40's married men with Dad bods to get on craigslist to search for the right adventure bike while slowly droping hints to the wife.
I would love to do this worked all my life but still more in likely wouldn't be able to afford it. 2020 and will be 62 but have been riding all my life I just wish I could do this but most of the rides i do by myself not a lot of friends that ride I use to ride a lot in AZ by myself and now in NY I do the same .
I curious. Do you power your GoPro from an external source? I know the goPro battery doesn't last long. You would be stopping all the time to change the battery. Also, how are you keeping your laptop charged?
I charged everything from bike power. Large battery bank & laptop would charge during the day when I was riding and at night i'd charge the GoPro, bluetooth unit, etc. off of the battery bank. I used the GoPro in one click record mode. So I would just push the record button randomly whenever I thought about it, recorded usually 1 min clips at least 2 an hour.
All but the Piedmont of NC are good places to ride.. I've been around Asheville and Spruce Pine(basically the whole west mountain region) a lot on the same bike.. GA, SC, FL, AR are way better IMO
It been two to three years since you posted any videos. I have to say that, in my opinion there have been NO videos as entertaining as the videos you put. Unbelievable that no one can speak as normal story telling events. Hope you are all doing well!
Thanks for the kind words! I’ve been living in a self converted cargo van for a year. It wasn’t the best lifestyle for me and my partner, so it was hard to record and be honest. But i’ve recorded a couple videos still of our last couple months. I hope to post those before the end of the year. Working to sell the campervan now so we can create a more stable life. And therefore create a lot more content!

great adventure. I like the music you use in the background. Do you have plans for any more adventures and more videos like this soon?

Did you get off the Amtrak train in lorton Virginia. I love your videos brother keep up the good work.
Really enjoying your channel. Hope you had a safe trip.
Glad to see it came out a better weather! Keep going bud.
Another great job. You need to put in a link on the TAT FB page.
Eric what gps unit did you use for your trip
I used my phone for navigation. Using the MotionX GPS app. I also had a Garmin InReach for satellite communication.

i did about 200-300 per day
I did about 400-600 per day
Average speed on the tat is in the high 20's. No way to do 500.
Ya I had funny expectations in the beginning.
