There are dozens of reasons why, the main ones being: - Fans and generally the public would get disappointed when they hear they sound different then on the studio track. - Need to not strain the voice since singers have to perform one song after another on stage that would kill their voice after half an hour. In the history of show business many singers had to have surgical operations after they damaged their larynx singing live. - It is easy to forget the lyrics while on stage with all the emotions performing live and that would deem the live performance a flop and possibly kill the artist career. - Fans don't give a shtt if the artist sings live or lip -syncing, as long as they see their idol in front of them moving their body and lips that's all that counts. - The singer is not the original performer of the track and they would sound like a sheep if they actually tried to open their mouth and sing live. Some examples are: the infamous E-Rotic band, Valerie Dore and Radiorama.
Pretty sure this is in the UK not Spain, as this remix of the song was only ever used in the UK, and you can see (BBC) in the background which is the main British TV channel! So this is most likely filmed in England
