I agree although black is ok I normally do brown with black helmet+ boots it just looks classic ig? and a black, navy, swampy green, and brown is ok for show jackets I also prefer when im judging for the bit and other metal parts on the saddle to be silver (including stirrup) bc it just fits in better.

Quarter line, is being 3-4 horses width away from the rail. But not totally inside of the arena. Hunter jumper is where the judge doesn’t judge you off of how fast you can complete the course, it’s mostly about how well you can complete the course. Like taking smooth turns instead of tight ones, jumping right the center of the jump, not on the side of it, not jumping to late or early. Just a regular jumping show is people judge you off of how fast you can complete the course without hitting the jump, that would be a dock for points in most. So, my English isn't the best, my apologies.But basically, I recommend you only using the quarter line when at the longside, if you're at the short side of the paddock I recommend wobbling (riding wiggly lines left and right, the judge won't notice bc the delay makes it look like your horse is only moving its head) or passing by doing a half circle inside of the player you're passing. Also, you placed the quarter line very well, but one inch closer to the fence wouldn't hurt. Good job!

HunterJumper judges are looking at your position and your horse. They want you to look pretty going over the jump. Hunter is smaller turns lower but nicer looking jumps. Hunter Jumper is based off of how people used to hunt foxes and rabbits. Jumper they do not care how you look going over, just as long as you make it over. Jumper timed so it is faster, sharper turns, and higher jumps. That is the main difference.

That first flat was WILD. I literally cant do flat shows anymore cause the judges make me so mad. Hosting them is much more fun. Also if they were using lasso this had to have been a while ago. 😅

also Koko the difference between hunter and jumpers is this: jumpers is how fast you can complete the course in a matter of time. Hunters is based off how the horse looks. also it does not matter if you can complete the course in the time... THERE IS NO TIMER :D also the horse has to be called EASY TO RIDE.Hope that helps!
