Love the pie! But 1 bit of advice, if you are going to spend a long time making a pattern on the pie - don't cover it with ice cream! Put the ice cream to the side of the pie :)

Your design is nice, but you should have retained the juice because with the addition of the cookies, it looked dry. Pro tip: cinnamon will disperse evenly, if first you dissolved in hot liquid.
Incredible pie crust! I love to weave pie crusts too - but mine is much more casual than yours! For pie taste, I would either pre-bake the bottom crust or brush it with egg white. Also, I’d skip the cookie crumbs and add more apple! I’d definitely keep the apple juice, which look pretty thick. If you think the juice is too runny, add a tablespoon of instant tapioca to it.
It is pretty but not a real apple pie for me no blind baking at the bottom plus all those cookie crumbs plus a store-bought crust that pie looks dry you went through all that work then put the ice cream on top of your beautiful design I am sure the taste was good but not for me your are very patient for all the work you put in do not hate it is just my personal opinion.

I am sorry but I am baffled, there are so many unnecessary steps, slice the apples in thinner slices, no need to cook them, for a thickener use dry quick tapioca with sugar and cinnamon, mix together and let it sit for about 10 minutes, place into your pie crust add about 1 tablespoon of butter (not marg) cut up in small pieces on top of the apple filling, then put your top crust (however you want), and of course, seal the pie and bake for an hour. I like to use at least 3 different types of apples in my pies, the taste is so much better. When my kids were young all their friends came straight off the bus to my house, they called me Betty Crocker. Back to the step of adding dry biscuits/cookies is so unnecessary and it also adds more calories, in fact, my recipe calls for 8 cups of apples, and I would always add an extra cup of apples, and I would cut back on the sugar instead of one cup I would use 2/3 cup. Anyway using dry tapioca is a great thickener and the taste is so great. The recipe is on the Tapioca box. When my grandchildren were at my house, I would let them have pie for breakfast, much better than the cardboard pop-tarts they got at home. One other tip use a marble rolling pin for your crust. Also, for my pie crust, I use cold flour, just put it in your refrigerator for a couple of hours prior to making it, I usually use that time to pare and slice the apples, I would always make 2 pies, using red delicious, yellow delicious and Macintosh or Rome apples about a 3 to 1 ratio, more of the sweet because using tart apples tend to be more watery.
Beautiful, but bery slow method. It's not a tatin, tatin is never covered and baked in a cast iron skillet/pan. May be the translator you used, lots of strange translations like turning the pie upside down after 20 min lol 😂 Good job!

Do not blanch the raisins! Add them directly! They will absorb the watery caramel and turn delicious. Us Indians use raisins in many dishes and we never blanch them. Raisins have a natural sweetness that goes away if you blanch them.
