- On yesterdays video I found one of my backyard chickens that fell victim to something that also took another chicken. This time I caught it on camera SO now we know whats been eating our pets / chickens in their coop.

Awwwww I use to have a pet Raccoon growing up, those are sneaky little buggers for sure!!! At least it wasn't a Skunk Ape!! 😳 To keep them away from the chickens leave the little Raccoons some cut up apples. They must be really hungry to get the chickens and they usually just get eggs from nests. But to save ya some time on trying to catch them all just leave out some apples and other types of cut up fruits and it could possibly help keep them from coming to the chickens. I'm so sorry friend this has happens to ur little buddies. I'm a bit critter crazy and can imagine how u feel right now.

FYI the hay you have around the chicken hatch will cause the rats to come. They love to get in and make beds. It is nice and warm. So if you can I would get rid of the hay.

Raccoons are predatory animals when they need to hunt they will. Hope you catch him. But honestly I would call animal control just in case it has rabies.

Melissa is right Rats will eat chicken eggs and the chicks. After you catch the raccoon I would store your chicken food in a metal trash can and bungee the lid to the can so they can’t get it open.

Have you ever been to Sloss Furnace in Birmingham Alabama? It's supposed to be haunted. It's now only open for self tours, and on Halloween they do a special tour. I've been once, and it does have an eerie feeling to it.
