As a Star Wars fan, I just can't get enough of Galaxy's Edge, so darn awesome
Wait till ride if the resistance damn
If I go I will probably try out the millennium falcon
Rey star wars Galaxy edge
Great video. I always a big fan of Hondo since watching him in the Clone Wars so it is awesome to see this character get attention.
Disinfinity I agree with you about Hondo. I was a fan of him in Clone Wars as well.
Now that there bringing the clone wars back, I think there trying there best to link it back up with canon a bit more
I went yesterday--the wait time was around 30 min. I think the crowds are moderate because the peak price admission now is $149, although it's worth it to see Galaxys Edge. I went into the "single rider" entrance. My crew consisted of me, a younger guy, an old guy, a Chinese lady with her young daughter, and another lady. My job as "engineer" was to press the big "harpoon" button when it lit up. It is basically a ride-simulator attraction but the cockpit is amazing with all of the buttons that light up and it does make you feel like you're flying the ship. It is not as rough a ride as "Star Tours".
I was supposed to go to Disneyland for my birthday today but, of course, did not get to go. This video got so much of Disneyland’s sense of beauty, imagination and connections. I honestly felt like I was on the ride with such amazing people just laughing and working together to smuggle some goods while crashing recklessly. And for that I can’t thank you enough. Thank you for making my birthday so magical through a simple video. Thank you so so much
Here’s hoping you can get out to Disneyland once they reopen. It truly is the happiest place on earth!
I remember the first time I went on this ride, a kid in the single rider line had a Remy magnet plush sitting on his hat. Our group needed one more person, so he went in. The flight attendant then said "Isn't that technically two?". I love the staff here.
Great video, thanks for putting it up. Not sure when I'll get back to Disneyland so this was cool to see. Really cool how when you leave, its like your getting off of the Falcon.
14:48 is that hera from rebels also please tell me im not the only one that wants hondo in a movie now
😢😢😢😢
I went on this ride with my parents and some unknown theme park guests in November 2019 which was 3️⃣ years ago regarding the fact that we celebrated my birthday that day. My dad and I were pilots whereas my mom was a gunner with the 👱🏻♀️ who sat next to her. Her son and her husband were also gunners and engineers on the same day that they joined us. May the force be with you. 🤣! 👍🏻 if you're sad that you're unable to go on this attraction in May and October 2020 due to COVID-19 that's spreading globally. 😭😭😭😭😭
Did you get to go on Rise of the Resistance that day?
@@1ROCKET- No, I didn't go on it, because it wasn't open yet. I might go on it with them when the pandemic goes away. We don't know that yet, so please keep me posted in the comment boards. LOL
I kept on crashing the ship even though going up and down is probably easier then side to side
This is great
Cant wait to ride this! PANDAVADER
Those piloting skills though... oh wait.
6:09 is that anamantronic???
Are u back
Just started following you when I saw you on the BigFatPanda video. Great video and looking forward to viewing future content from you. PANDAVADER
So grateful for this video as the ride was closed when we wanted to ride yesterday! So disappointing. Rise of the Resistance broke down while we had been in line for over an hour... we were evacuated from the the Indiana Jones ride too...
Omg ....insaneee
does the exit hallway always spark like that even if you did exceptionally well?
It’s not supposed to spark if you did well. If it’s sparking it’s because you did badly
If you did well it is not suppose to spark. Every time though I came back and it was sparking so I guess I did poorly every time
God bless
THIS IS SO COOL
real star wars i some try this galaxy 2019 11-1
Does anyone know how much rooms/cockpits they have? I can see us waiting for 2+ hours when we go here in october?
They have 4 bays with 7 cockpits on each bay plus 2 ADA cockpits not on the individual bays. I did the math and it should be around 1800 guests/hr
I am 45 and grew up with star wars toys and I think star tours is a way better ride.
“I literally just saw an 8 year old go by.”
*sigh*
Somehow it’s comforting to know that language skills are deteriorating in a galaxy far, far away just as they are here at home.
Those pilots shouldn't have gone to Oga's before this...🤦♂️
I miss Orlando Florida
So are you on the actual Falcon, you parked oustide, itself; or a replica inside a building?
Is this in Paris?
No, Galaxy's Edge is only in California and Florida.
@@1ROCKET- thanks😅
Is the alien guy a talking a robot or a person because if it’s a robot I’m will be shocked that it’s super realistic
Disney Barbie Show it’s a robot/ animatronic
Loose Monkey 😦😀😀😀😃😃😀😀😀no way that is a robot that’s amazing omg
Yep! It's an animatronic of Hondo Ohnaka, a character from The Clone Wars and Rebels!
could a pregnant person go on this? I will be 17 weeks when I go. I don't get motion sickness, i'm just wondering about the bumps - if they're too harsh.
I see blind spots
As usual on Disney Ride's , making the line is just as fun as the ride itself !! … PANDAVADER !
Has Hondo EVER even seen the MF?
Smh.
So is it just a video motion ride thing - them things aren't usually that impressive -went on the old star wars ride a disneyland paris and it was a real let down, did the old Robocop video motion at the Dunluce Centre in Portrush in the 90s with moveable chairs and it was noticeably superior -surely they should have a roller coaster or some big ride
Jarliff Von Remmington Steel this looks a lot better than star tours though
@@ciello___8307 the whole area looks great, looking forward to checking it out, just its missing a big attraction. Seems that the area and merch is the attraction, all fluff, little substance.
Jarliff Von Remmington Steel i mean, merch is literally “substance” haha. But yeah, I think it needs another ride- although most disney areas only have one or two rides per section
Comparing this to other POV movies here on YT, it seems each run is exactly the same.
there’s supposed to be 3 runs with different videos but they only have one so far. might add the others when it actually opens
@@salt6500 : Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
Sophia M - but it is actually opened now. (Unless you mean after the “reservation” period ends to access Galaxy’s Edge land on 6/24)
Wes Frater yes that’s what i mean
Rey Star s wars galaxy edge
Holy shit what a terrible ride
Star Tours all over again. Boooooring.
No dude! I’d pick Star Tours over this ride any day (as long as you don’t get stupid Jakku).
They’re really different, you have to ride both as videos can’t show what it feels like. Falcon feels like an interactive video game but with excellent theming, and Tours feels more like a realistic flight to different worlds.
If you look at all the footage of the ride, notice how everyone is swinging left to right? The controls are too sensitive and makes it too hard to navigate and it takes from the experience because you crash into EVERYTHING! Also if everyone doesn’t do there job correctly you get a really low score and again ruins the ride for everyone.
If your an engineer, you constantly have to look away from the screen to look at the buttons that you need to press and your more focused on that than seeing what happening during the ride. But then if you chose to look at the ride and not look at the buttons your suppose to press as an engineer, the ship takes too much damage and you get a really low score.
So then you have to count on a person(s) (there’s 2 for every position) who just waited over an hour in line that would care more about looking away from the screen to press flashing buttons in order for your group to get a good score!
Not really well thought out.
Think of this...
A 10 year boy who’s been waiting for there family trip to fly to Anaheim to go visit Galaxy’s Edge and get a chance to pilot The Falcon for the last 6 months. Gets up super early ready to go because the excitement is too much to contain, all he’s been doing is talking about this big day and just jumping off the walls! He goes and waits in a 90 minute line just to be handed a card from the cast member that reads “Engineer,” his assigned position on the ride, boards the ride and gets stuck in BACK of the ride and now is in charge of pressing flashing buttons and is trying to lean over to see what’s going on. Before he knows what’s going on and the ride is over. Exits the ride and that’s it. He’s hopes and dreams crushed!
You can’t ask for “2 for the front” like almost every other ride in the park, because those cards are given out by the cast member at random, so good luck trying to get someone to give up their “Pilot” assignment card!
THATS what I’m talking about.
Umm...sure dude.
