Given that Tower corner is a late apex, I'm not sure I agree with the "Nice and Early" comment. For every foot you go in "nice and early" you come out 3 feet early on the exit and end up running way too wide and onto the grass. Avon rise is left apex, and let the car settle after the apex into the middle of the track (as Bobby does). Do NOT try to get it all the way left - It feels like it should be the right thing to do but it plain doesn't work (not least because the inside after Avon Rise is slightly off camber and pitches the rear end to the right as I've found, almost to my cost). Just be careful with the bumps going into Avon Rise. There is a line where you don't feel them but I hit that line about once every 10-15 laps - the margins are so small. The rest is pretty intuitive. 🙂
Going there next week. Hope the weather holds out a bit 🫠
Very good overview of the track, I'd definitely recommend Bobby Thompson if you are looking for tuition.
A really detailed commentary. Great stuff

‘Nice and early’ is the worse thing to do , 24hrs ago I was driving round it 😊
Far better slightly late turning in there for smooth line through 😎
Do the grid markings make the final corner slippery in the wet?
So, in early to all the corners and brake hard...l was hoping for a little more guidance than that.....
