Saw Clegg on his Farewell Tour stop at Washington's Warner Theater and this was on the set list. Can't say it did all that for me initially and talking about the tune, Clegg even seemed to have mixed feelings about the remix. The video was interesting, but got stuck during the show (though most folks didn't seem to notice). And now that I've played it a couple of times, it's grown on me. Yeah, I still love the original, but I wouldn't turn this off if it came on the radio.

There's a much much better video to accompany this thrilling song. I mean the one that shows the passenger jet flying away above the chain link fence. It's the original one. It was missing for a long time, and I day dreamed about that plane and the fence. I can always jump on a plane but that video is so powerful-- that that simple image alongside the song was too moving, truly.

its quite easy - I´m sitting on the other side of the globe AND I do like his house version - with the right people and multiplcators the song can travel much faster around the globe - and if it makes it into radio - into space too ;)

The remixes were Hilton Rosenthal’s idea to get into ‘the youth market’. There’s a video of the remix and this video, played during one of Johnny’s Final Journey concerts in the USA. In it he tells the story of the remixes in his inimitable way.
