@@pwnycny , while true that we can't look at, say 60, as we did at 20, what you might find when you are much older is that often we find beauty in people with advanced that we did not when we were young. (This is not true for everyone, such as those older husbands who cheaters.)

just remember folks old age is not gifted to everyone. These ladies are doin just fine! Barbara Eden is my personal fav and a beautiful person inside and out. Despite her tragedies she's maintained her dignity throughout.

To live to be 90 years old is a great happiness. And be in good physical shape and look like that. It's amazing! It can be seen who had plastic surgery, this is a plus for them that they decided to do it. I want to live to be 90, and I don't care what I look like, but I want to live to be that age..

It’s wonderful to know that you were once beautiful. There are people who will never experience beauty or the opportunity to say they were once beautiful (on the outside)
I think most people are beautiful to someone (or more) sometime during their lives. Sadly, they are seldom told. Everyone seems hung up on the stunning beauty that gains public attention and notoriety, according to current cultural standards. The academic study of aesthetics proves very informative and opened up my thinking and perceptions, and I'm glad I took a university class on the subject.

The ladies here weren't once beautiful, they are still beautiful. Whether they have had help remaining so, is a perennial qupestion, but it truly matters not. It's true that they have attained great wealth and stardom as a result of their looks, and therefore, have had the funds available to take exquisite care of themselves that an everyday housewife of the same Era wasn't afforded and the yrs have taken their toll.
What I find interesting is, no matter how much cosmetic intervention they may have undergone, the skin on their necks usually is not nearly as youthful as the skin on their face, and therefore hints, and sometimes screams that what you see isn't always the truth. Regardless, they are still legendary and beautiful.
I am also still alive and remember them all when they were young. I would have enjoyed them all then.

Us older woman feel good when we see that we’re not the only ones who age, good or not so good. But we really don’t want to see those who gave us pleasure with their talent age. We want to remember them as they were, not so that you can Get your “story”.

What are you talking about? The only bad plastic surgery I see here is Marissa Berenson. These women range from mid 70s to mid 90s. I'm not sure what you expect them to look like. What is "age gracefully and naturally"? Please remember what they do for a living.

Totally agree with you they look like a joke trying to look like when they were young when in their 80's and 90's and if you use plastic surgery you are not aging well. In my country actresses age naturally because they are not judged for doing so and they feel good in their own skin and are loved for who they are not by how they used to look.
What's not realize is, as our exterior beauty declines with age, our real beauty expands, unseen, defined by the character for which we strive.

The best ones are those who remained natural; the "remastered" ones are simply monsters.
most of them are remastered. It tells women that it's not okay to get old that you have to look young even at 90 and no one would look like this without plastic surgery. I feel fine with being old I had all the fun and joy I wanted and now all that matters is my granddaughter:)

It could be quite difficult for some of these actresses who were in the spotlight when they were younger and have aged as we all do I hope they still enjoy life a person is more than their appearance

I can't agree. Some aged well but most have been disfigured by plastic surgery and / or horrible make-ups. They should have donated all those thousands and thousands of $$$, they spent on treatments that were good for nothing. Okay, you only learn from (bad) experience, I guess.

No it doesn’t. Don’t put too much emphasis on lines telling stories. How do YOU know their lives are well lived. The lines can well be a sign of unhappiness, tragedy etc. by your definition, everyone who is naturally lined has had a well lived life? Think again.

A person who has enjoyed a full, happy and rewarding life will develop happy smile lines as the skin ages. A sour, sallow misanthrope will have that reflected upon their ageing face. This is so obvious to be almost a truism. I learned this from my 97 year old mother, a beauty in her youth and a giver all her life, much beloved in her community. Smile lines appear on her face as she sleeps.
