Good to know you didn’t add any spacers to the bottom of the pod. I posted this question on the FB group and had multiple people say I needed about an inch or so spacer.
Hey man! I’ve yet to install my transducer on my pwr129 because I can’t get to the bottom of whether you need a spacer or not. Many people have said you need 4 inches of space so that the side scan works properly but you said no spacer needed??
Thanks for checking out the video! So I started with no spacer for awhile but I did end up putting a 1/2" piece of some left over cutting board I had laying around as a spacer a month ago just to get it level with the bottom of the dry pod hole. Really couldn't tell much of a difference on Side Scan. The 4" spacer you're talking about I believe is if you are running the block off plate and not the dry pod.
Really nice! Thanks for sharing
Awesome, you don't need a spacer . I just picked up my pwr129 it's the ss127 on steroids.

Thank you so much for posting this man!! So when you drill into the dry pod just use some marine goop and that seals it up just fine?
Yep. Make sure the bolt hole is the same as the bolt and I put some on the underside as well as inside. Good to go! 👍
@@demolition_fishing I’ll let you know how it goes man!!
