    Rosalía introduce herself as a musician not as a singer and I like she does that because you know when there is a female singer people always think: Hum... Who is behind this. But no this is a cooperation of El Guincho and Rosalía. They both created the whole sound but Rosalía is always the person who decides at the end of the day.
    De Aquí No Sales or Bagdad are amazing videoclips too and Di mi nombre is more a flamenco focused song but it's amazing who she refresh the dense flamenco sound and look.
    So many people who said she's amazing is really criticising her because she recently made a reggaeton song; and it's not a pop/reggaeton song like nowadays, you see how she was influenced by the early Dj's from Puerto Rico who really started creating something similar to the reggaeton.
    "ROSALÍA, J Balvin - Con Altura". She already said to that: Reggaeton is just another genre and music is music. And I agree I still don't understand why people critizise a genre has no sense.
    Please react to those 4 videos you still have from her I believe you even enjoy the reggaeton song because is pretty raw and more pure than this recent pop-reggaeton who make nowadays.
    Pd: She's working with so many international artist. There are some video in youtube Billie Eilish talking about who awesome Rosalía is and I think they have a song. With the amazing Pabllo Vittar too. I can't imagine who they will sound together.

      Thank you for the comment! Ok, I will definitely react to those 4 songs. De Aquí No Sales and Bagdad are on the list but I will add Di mi nombre and Con Altura. I'm curious to see how the reggaeton style combines with her natural style. Can't be bad, I could only image. We'll see!
      Oh wow! She's making music with a lot of people! I actually have a some reactions to Billie Eilish. I'm a fan of her sound. The combination of the two will be great! As for Pobllo Vittar, I haven't heard of him. We'll find out how that one goes!

      @@fajitv9970 Don't you know about Pabllo Vittar? He is the biggest drag queen in the world and he's brazillian his voice is so high that seems it's a real woman singing and I really like because mixes brazillian rythms with pop. Its like if you mix a random american diva with brazillian flavour :D and he has a song with Major Lazer called "Major Lazer - Sua Cara (Feat. Anitta & Pabllo Vittar) "
      But I prefer their albums you will see how he mixes those brazillian rythms.

      @@fajitv9970 it's about jealousy, the lyrics are written from the jealous man's point of view who is frightened of her wife going out cause everybody can see her smile. Very elegantly and beautifully written yes, but it is about a toxic relationship. In fact, her whole "El mal querer" album is about that toxic relationship from which the woman flees empowered. If you notice, each of the songs has a "Cap." (Chapter) number with a name. This one is "Cap:3 Celos" (Chapter 3: Jealousy) :)

    Hi!: I love your reactions!
    So, as long as I know only a bit about flamenco, the beat here is a Soleá (I think it's a Soleá por Bulerías more specifically-If someone knows a bit better, I would be glad to be corrected!). Flamenco uses a 12 beat system, and depending of accentuation, you have different sub-genres: 1-2-(3)-4-5-(6)-7-(8)-9-(10)-11-(12) is the Soleá basic beat, the "Soleá por Bulerías" changes the strong beat from (6) to 7 :1-2-(3)-4-5-6-(7)-(8)-9-(10)-11-(12) . Also in the last part she skips some beats and changes from a 12 beat system to a 10 beat. But anyways as andalusian myself, what Rosalia has done with our traditional music it's amazing, has taken a very traditional beat and transformed into something catchy and guilible to the whole world. Also the accent she uses here is the andalusian modality of spanish (needed in flamenco lyrics), very similar to south-american spanish (i.ex.: "Mirá" instead of "Mirada", "Vihte" instead of "Viste", and so on)
    The meaning of the song it's very methaphorical, "Celos" means "Jealousy", the chorus says "I have fear when you go smiling to the street, cause everybody can see the dimples in your face: I think in your gaze, is a bullet in the chest" , and also "I'm jealous of the air that touches your hair; and the golden jelwery, cause touches your neck; and of the moon, cause you can see her (like if he were saying: Even your gaze must be mine to look only at me); and of the water you drink, cause it touches your lips". In the video, she is a woman secluded in home in where her jealous husband gives her anything. The other women are also victims of him. About the bull thing: It's not very clear to me neither, cause Rosalia usually uses "spanish" imaginery and not everything has a "profound" meaning( for instance her last outfit: The colours are red and yellow, which are the colours of the spanish flag) , but it can be her husband attacking physically her cause of his jealousy. Also, when she is surrounded by weapons means she can do nothing, she can't move freely. When she holds the gun, it can mean she is seen as the agressor by her husband: She is the woman who has given him her "gaze" - the bullet- and has attacked him first.
    Aannnd that's all I would say not to be boring. Keep it cool!

      Wow, this information is amazing! The music structure for the song is not common at all and I think that's why it stuck out so much to me. Thank you for clarify that! The lyrics you've shared make so much sense with the imagery in the video! The bullet blood wound makes sense, along with the men holding weapons surrounding her. I thought that scene was so powerful and then they show her with the shotgun, making it seem as though she is the aggressor. You really nailed it there! Do you by any chance know what the olive shaped objects she put in the shotgun and her mouth symbolize? I feel like that part is profound and must mean something. By the way, the video I uploaded kept getting blocked so I had to cut out a lot of the music video. As you can see, I spoke about scenes that you may have not seen in my reaction but I definitely saw the whole video. Thank you so much for sharing :)

      @@fajitv9970 oh wow, I'm glad you find my comment helpful! About the gun and the olive part: I think it simbolizes precisely her "gaze". I think it's in fact an olive, in Spain it's very common eating them as a snack. That's why she eats it. But when you see the scene, there's a part in where you can see how the scene changes from the olive to the eyes of the bull. So I think the olive is an "eye", she puts it on the gun cause she's gonna shoot her "gaze" to a men.
      Also in the same scene, you can see how she puts on her wrist a golden bracelet: This has a more profound meaning (at least to me). That specifical kind of bracelet in spanish is called "esclava", which is translated literally as "slave", and usually those kinds of bracelets were engraved with the name of someone's important ( your partner, your son- They were usually used very much for children and women (children used to have their own or their parent's name) that's why they were called "slaves"-it's a form to express "summision" to a beloved one): So she is put a golden bracelet with the name Baron Dandy. Baron Dandy is a very old brand of barber products and they were identified with the sense of masculinity in old times, so in this part, Baron Dandy refers to her husband, and all the scene is her being transformed in a "slave" by her husband. She's only gonna use the gun (her gazes) as a "slave". Thanks for all!

      @@desiredmanga Yes, very helpful indeed! I love this analysis, it makes so much sense. I did not noticed the olives turning into the bulls eyes. I will rewatch and look for that! That's brilliant. It makes perfect sense that it would symbolize her gaze. And the bracelets meaning slaves in very interesting. It must have a lot of historical value. :)

      FajiTV mainly he has produced "El Mal Querer" together with rosalia and "Con Altura”.
      He has an own album called “hiperasia” (electronic sounds)

    Sorry, I don't want to sound unrespectful, but in my opinion you talk too much and stop the video too many times - it kind of breaks the flow - it seems you have already seen the video before. Apart from that the video has several signifiants parts missing, guess is due to copyright issues

      Hey! It's ok. I appreciate your kind honesty. I have had too many issues with copyright that I have it easier to stop the video much more often. With artists like Rosalia is it basically impossible to post the video so I am required to do so. Afterward when I am editing I will post the video with all of the paused within it and if it still gets blocked I will take it down and cut out parts. This is the struggle of making these videos and for my particular situation it's the only way.
