I’m starting to understand, see, and feel the bigger picture .
I thought the clave accen is on 2-3 or 6-7? How r u counting 2-3 & 5 & 8 but at the beginning u count 2-3 5&8 but then add an extra "and" which is not how clave is counted. Furthermore clave focuses most on the mambo counts on2, where r u stepping ur 2-3 & 6-7. This is very misleading.
What happened if you dance on 2?

I did comment about your dancing body movements and I think that you will greatly benefit if you slow down a bit and dance like you have oil in your joints. Be smooth 😎 a smooth dancer is great.
If you don't feel the clave, all that won't work, even dancing on1,on2, son. Musicality is all about feeling the music.

Thanks sir 🙏. Only problem with dancing on clave is that it is Very hard to listen to the Claver. On some songs actually the most of the songs, the climate is hidden with other instruments. So what should I do during those times are in those songs. As I said Claver to listen to it is hard
I found a system for a dancer. It proves to be 100% effective. Just understand where the downbeats and upbeats are and then put the Clave key on it (steps on Clave).
You’re sooo right my Dad kept trying to teach me and it was so hard because the other instruments and there’s so many of them.

Yes of course. Your dance with a partner is like a conversation, you don't have to repeat the same sentence. You can speak with different strength or intonation when you are free (you dance in the opening, or interpret the music)

I like your way when you teach, i used to dance salsa as 123 tap 567 tap and i find the beat on 1

Why? Since the music says 2/3 clave so dance on2 (son, power on2, mambo, on2). If you feel the rhythm, dancing on1 to 2/3 clave is like eating a soup you don't like

thats really cool, I have a hard time to incorporate that in partner work. The issue for me is that the followers turn are very slow in the 5and8 section.
