With three little toddlers including twins, I currently don’t want to learn a new pro software to take time away from my family. So I appreciate Apple for continuing improving FCP. So you don’t need to feel sorry for me.
Integrated Rotoscoping would really be an awesome feature. As much as I love MotionVFX, the subscription model is just a no when you just need that and nothing else.
Agree … it’s kind of funny seeing the desk now their business model. I wonder if they knew about these features coming from final cut I’m under the impression that they downplayed the fact that they were never update the program with those tools and found a great opportunity to capitalize off of it. I know it’s business but this also is very exciting for me as well. I will not be subscribing, even though I love motion, VFX tools they may have a meeting this morning, throwing books in the air. This is not going to be as profitable as they thought it would be unless it performs better than diversion as built inside, but it has AI so I believethat rotoscope and built internally and final cut will be amazing

Meanwhile I’m still using iMovie. Definitely getting FCP soon though!! I made a video using it on the M4 iPad Pro. It was so easy to learn. I haven’t tried it on MacBook yet and I have a 3 month free trial 😍😍
Yahoo! This sounds fantastic! I’ve recently switched to PCP from iMovie because I needed features that iMovie didn’t have. If just these two things are added to FCP it will make that move even more useful. I looked into going to the FCP Summit this year but just couldn’t afford it. You are not alone, Dylan! As an FCPX user for years, I have to give special thanks for your video, which taught me lots of skills about FCPX! However, the capcut is very useful for creating captions(Especially for Cheese captions). I anticipate that the AI in FCPX built the caption for any language(English first I know.🤣) . and the Magnet Mask is super useful and easier to create the text behind the object. Can 't wait to watch your video bout these new features!

FCP is my tool of choice. First used it a few years back on a feature film project and haven’t look back since. For the social media brand content I shoot now it’s a breeze In edits. Simple , clean and fast

Yes. But mid- / longterm you will need more than 256gb ssd. So fast external drives are a must. CPU/GPU performance and RAM are more than sufficient enough and will offer an outstanding video editing experience.
I hope you are right. I made the switch to DaVinci awhile back because I was tired of feeling left behind. I still play around in FCP though and would be very open to coming back.

I got depressed when I saw people making videos about Final Cut is too much backward for 2024. This update gives me hope to continue using FCP and it's still one of the best video editing applications in market.

Just tried the new auto captions but you have no workability with them. it just generates basic black text at the very bottom of the screen and thats it. a waste of a feature
So I live in Bali, Indonesia and they have a grocery store here called Grand Lucky. I bought them in there for a few dollars so I don't really know the brand 😅

Yeah, need FCP A.I. future, cannot help but wonder how much A.I. can work with older software structure. In other words, can FCP become a A.I. application?
I'm not sure the old Intel systems have the horsepower to handle it whereas the ARM based chips have so much more capability with multiple cores and gpus.
