I’m from same area as Kaleb and when he dodged all 11 votes against him with his shot in the dark making him SAFE, holy I was flippinh out and even flipped my weed tray off my lap and still didn’t even care.

When I saw that for the first time I was so shocked. Now that I’m aware that broke a record too, I’m even more shocked.
Angelina courageously sacrificing herself for rice is great and all, but that's nothing compared to the bravery she showed when she climbed a 50 foot ladder up a mountain in search of an Idol, narrowly avoiding certain death in the process.

I feel bad for Angelina. She expertly manipulated another woman into giving her her jacket, stopping her from freezing to death. Missed out on a crucial opportunity to win an immunity to prevent her tribemates from literally starving to death. Scaled a 1000000ft wall effortlessly to retrieve an idol to save herself. And not a single jury vote. Survivor can be frustrating...
When she climbed that ladder up to the peak of Mount Everest just for an idol and then didn't win the million dollars, I knew Survivor had fallen from grace.

There are some overdramatic players that look like they're just acting for the cameras to get screen time, like Troyzan or Tarzan. But Coach and Angelina are both so genuine and authentic in their delusion, the lack of self awareness is actually hilarious
I'd add Debbie to that list, because I think she is genuinely about as delusional as Coach and Angelina are. Phillip on the other hand, he's in the Troyzan/Tarzan camp of purposely playing the persona up because it makes for amazing TV

Angelina not winning David vs Goliath still blows my mind. She is the best player of the season (maybe even in survivor history). Her being so humble about the rice, climbing the ladder all the way to heaven to get the idol, jacketgate and the best ftc speech ever should be more then enough. Stop asking for the even edit samoa, start asking for the winner edit for Angelina in DVG!

god, that episode of Tocantins is one of the FUNNIEST that season, especially since it also includes Brendan falling in love with JT and wanting to throw his whole game away for him in the span of ONE AFTERNOON

You've got the Game Changers one backwards. Cirie was trying to steal Sarah's vote to vote out Tai, who was the one who was targeting Sarah. Cirie was trying to tell Sarah Tai was targeting her beofre tribal council but she didn't believe her.

I hope Davie returns. DvG was and amazing season and Davie stood in a group with Christian and Mike White. His comment to Angelina at FTC was gold.
DvG was what got me rehooked on survivor
When survivor has these big moments, it's either hilarious so super intense but I'm all for it.
But I believe it was Tai who wanted to vote out Sarah, Cirie wanted to used Sarah's advantage to vote off Tai who Sarah refused to believe would turn on her, and Mikaela was booted to punish Cirie which wound up being a bad move by Sarah.
I think you’re misremembering Game Changers. Tai was going to vote out Sarah and Cirie told Sarah. Sarah wouldn’t believe Cirie. So Cirie wanted to steal Sarah’s vote and use it to vote out Tai, since Sarah refused to vote out Tai. Then everything happened and Sarah voted out Mikaela to hurt Cirie. But it turns out Cirie was on Sarah’s side and Tai was against her. So Sarah voting out Mikaela to hurt Cirie wasn’t actually a good move, but a big blunder, since Cirie was the one who was on her side.
This is true. Sarah was originally targeting Aubry that round since they just took out Andrea and Aubry was the only one not in on it. Cirie didn't want to lose two of her allies in a row, so she wanted to vote Tai next. Sarah wouldn't go along with it, and Cirie thought that Brad, Troyzan, and Tai were going to vote Sarah out and try to pull in Aubry.

Cirie was not targeting Sarah at that point. She spooked out Sarah when she decided to take Sarah’s vote as that screamed eliminating Sarah, though that was not the case.
Correct...she was legitimately planning to target Tai and show Sarah how untrustworthy he truly was
I don’t watch Survivor, but these videos get recommended to me and it makes the show seem so interesting but any time I’ve tried to watch, it’s never really caught my attention. Anyway, thanks for making this interesting!

I started watching survivor very late in this season but my Mimi’s reaction to Kalebs shot in the Dark was enough to show me how rare it was

That Sarah move is so underrated cause god damn that was some mind game.
Another great moment from season 45 was Sebiyah’s blindside. Not only did she have an idol encased in wax that could not be retrieved until the wax was burned away and Lulu’s losing streak and inability to ever be safe from tribal that season never gave them the reward of a flint or any fire making materials. But she brought it TO tribal to throw into the Tribal fire, greatly dumbfounding Jeff who lets it slide and then DOES NOT USE IT. Sebiyah was SO anti-Emily the whole time that she didn’t think to suspect Kaleb and Emily would join forces even when Emily gave Sebiyah her shot in the dark (which up at that point had never been used successfully in changing the outcome of a tribal).
Also from 45 would be literally EVERY TIME Jake was ahead and he’d immediately Charlie Brown it. Jake was like the puppy you’d pretend to throw a ball to and never figured out it’s still in your hand. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me consistently for 26 days, however… you’re probably looking like a goat.
CIRIE GETTING ELIMANATED ON GAME CHANGERS
In FansVFavorites, Amanda’s idol play was really unique for the time, in that an idol find would normally be shown when the person found it and it was a big deviation to reveal a player had found an idol the way they did in that episode. It’s something that’s more common in the new era, ex. Xander giving his idol to Tiffany and making a fake one to bamboozle Leona in a flashback. It’s crazy that the Amanda idol find was in an older season and made for great TV at the time

14:24 I'm fairly certain Cirie genuinely wasn't going to vote out Sarah with her steal-a-vote. Iirc she couldn't convince Sarah that Tai wanted to target her so intended to steal her vote to put a second vote onto Tai. I might have the details wrong, but the important part that you seemed to have omitted in the video, is that Cirie was using Sarah's steal-a-vote for Sarah's own best interests. At least, if I'm remembering things correctly. I believe the idea was also to make Tai think he was safe so he wouldn't play his idol, since the move does make it very much look like it's being used against Sarah.

Katturda was the dumbest on that season. I was so sick of her complain about Bruce, but never truly try to vote him out until she sees it written in stone. Terrible person, I have, and we all should, complain to her law firm.
Kaleb’s play was not a “move”. It was a desperate last ditch effort that anybody in his shoes would’ve done, he just happened to be the lucky one to be given the scroll that says “safe” on it. He had nothing to do with it.
He made the call to play it, it wasn't automatic.
