    When a bait is moving its harder for small fish to get it in thier mouth. So the fact you catch less but bigger fish makes perfect sense

    Justin what happened to the white uglys? What rods are u using now?

    • @KayakCatfish
      @KayakCatfish  6 лет назад +1

      I still have and use the ugly stiks. My friend gave me one of the Catfish sumo rods earlier this summer and ask me to use it and give him some feedback. The other rod in this video is a custom built rod which is my favorite rod that I own.

    Finally got the time to watch this! Great video as always! I’m in Texas near the Colorado river, north of lake Buchanan. It’s a stream compared to the Tennessee, but I’m getting things together to try your methods in the spring. Not so sure we have blues, but I know there’s yellow cats and channel cats. I’ll take anything haha

    • @KayakCatfish
      @KayakCatfish  6 лет назад +1

    Man... the way you catch em. I’m just waiting for you to hook that one that you can’t get in the kayak. You got some good ones on this trip. (A normal Justin catch). I don’t think I’ve seen Steve take a phone call and get a big fish like that. lol.

    • @KayakCatfish

      Scott, I don't have to stand up and use my legs to get one of those bitty fishes in the yak. I just curl them into my boat. My goal one day is to workout with JJ and teach him to get his arms as big and strong as mine. My calls are usually from women who have seen me on RUclips and think they have a chance.

    • @KayakCatfish

      This video was filmed in September. I still fish in the cold but my work schedule doesn’t allow me to go as often. I just put on some warmer clothes and go catch fish when my schedule allows.
