I got Topaz because of the fact that I lost my old account with Jingliu, it turned out to be the best decision after finding out Dr. Ratio works well with her!!
Theres a rumor that she works welll with Aventurine as well (Imaginary Preservation) with a follow-up based attacks, so getting her is like an investment lmao (especially if you love Elation path in SU)

i got topaz surprisingly on 50/50. i wasn't really happy initially because i pull exclusively for 5* husbandos but since it was my decision to pull on a banner i didn't want, i decided to suck it up and build her. seeing how her kit actually works made me so happy. she synergizes well with jing yuan (my first limited 5*) and now dr. ratio. best mistake ever! i love her now.
Dr. Ratio is professor Ushimaru of Persona 5 (the one who throws you chalk), but on steroids.
And the enemies have rank 0 in every social stat

I think you could have done a better rotation, imo it would be better to do ratio's ult first and then do topaz's ult, something like
Ratio's ult > Topaz's ult > Topaz basic attack > funny fua's
It also makes the rotation straight up SP positive c:
More clear version: Ratio Skill (+talent follow up) - Topaz Talent (follow up) - Topaz Ult - Ratio Ult. 1 AA after = Ratio follow -> Topaz follow -> Ratio follow. 5 follow up after only 1 skill + 1 auto, 6 if you`ll add another auto (from topaz follow up ult). SP positive, btw!

Im planning on running a similar team but with fu xuan instead of luocha since i dont have him. It's so crazy that we get this character free and I cant wait to use him outside the trial.

his ult has a low multiplier but his followup has a bigger multiplier

I expected this to be the case. I run Kafka and Topaz in SU and normal attacking with my sustains provides the benefit of procing Kafka and then Forwarding Numby.
I hope to pull Kafka in the second half of 1.6, I’mma have her on a DoT team so Ratio and Topaz have the spotlight on a FUA team
i have a weird important question related to TOPAZ LC ...what if i have two copies of it one for topaz and one for DR ratio ! will the CD buff from hitting an enemy that stacks 2 times count seperately ? as in 2 stacks from her which means extra 24% cd taken and another 24% cd taken from dr ratio applying the same effect from the same LC or is it gonna count as one only 24% CD taken which making pulling for two copies a stupid move on her rerun !

Stuff like this is why tier lists are so stupid. I knew the moment Topaz's kit was released she would be extremely important to have for a lot of future teams. She is ranked as S but she should be top tier.
Imagine having a healer character that has a follow-up heal skill that heals a character after they perform a follow-up attack. Follow-up skills I think is this game more interesting mechanic and seeing it getting more support is a good thing and it is something I expected to see.

What i'm honestly curious about is will he be like topaz that some of his atk except the follow up one are considered like one already like his ult or just skill and normal attack
every Topaz's attack is considered to be a follow-up bc of her trace. Dr. Ratio has ult(and mind you not ult itself is more like ult enables his talent) and talent that's it, his skill and basic are not follow-ups

debuffer can work as sub-dps so 50/50 (if you have 1 support/armony )

Am I the only one who noticed that his fua targets somebody else if his skill makes the targeted enemy go to 0 hp? that is such a massive qol imo
Edit: I ran him with fu xuan, bronya & e2 silverwolf, it was a massacre even with the shitty trial build...
Overall he is a very flexible unit. Just need to use his ult wisely.

Yep so just 3 debuffs per battle is okay to guarantee 100% follow up attack

Is silver wolf over-kill for Topaz and dr ratio team? Dr Ratio only need at least 3 debuff on enemy to trigger follow up attack and topaz (e0s1) and dr ratio are enough. Should we replaced sw for bronya?

To really unleash his potential you need stacks for his traces which boosts his damage, those two traces requires 5 and 6 debuffs on the enemies so SW will not be overkill
@@MoyaMoyashiithose thing stacks (like argenti passive) and is permanent? so just in two turns u'll get full stack with 3 debuffs

Yes. The most efficient team would be Dr. Ratio, Topaz, Ruan Mei, and sustain like Huohuo to fill in a bit of atk% and energy gap. Fuxuan works just as well to fulfill high CR req. In this scenario, both DPS should run SPD imo.
While it is viable to run Bronya in the team, Ruan Mei just works more comfortably in this scenario. Only if you run him without Topaz but SW then you should absolutely use Bronya in this case.
