First video I've watched in a while as I've been skint and busy but I have a wee request: could you put blank lines between each title in your description so the timestamps are easier to use, please?
OH! You know next time Nintendo sends me a feedback survey I'm gonna recommend the ability to map Gryo to the X/Y axis of the right stick so all games on the Switch can have the native ability to use Gyro aiming 💪🏼🎮🎯 -

They never fixed it on PC either.
They should’ve just released the games individually then people could actually decide to not buy a broken game.

It should be mandatory that every review channel make videos like this.
I’ve seen so many games that I was interested, with bad reviews from years ago, but I have no way to know if the patches worked
I appreciate switch up doing these but it shouldn't be on reviewers to go back and reevaluate your game. That's basically giving you free publicity, which is fine if it provides a service to consumers, but saying channels should be required to do it is way too much.
That'll just give more reason for devs to not put effort in to release builds

@@ataridc I see where you're coming from but they at least pin a comment that this is outdated or on the video having the review date. Keeping an outdated review adds to the misinformation, taking the video down could prevent the spread of misinformation.
All Patched Up is the best series of SwitchUp. Even if I am not interested in the games I always watch these to see how the developers can better make use of Switch hardware, lol.

I'm hoping for a complete rehaul for the Switch version of 'Another Crab's Treasure'. A game with such potential should be experienced with little no problems.
I love this series. These games are like the ex you can't forget and check up on from time to time to see if it's worth getting back together 😂.
Another Crab’s Treasure released an update recently but consoles are gonna get it a bit late. I hope it includes some Switch specific updates.
This would be great if the Switch got something from them, especially performance in handheld. I really want to play ACT!

Whenever one of these All Patched Up episodes drops, I literally drop everything to watch it. You guys should revisit Bang Up Ball Chronicles!
Given the half-finished state that most games seem to be released in lately, I take my hat off to the makers of Little Kitty... for giving us a "Get unstuck" button. Every game should have one (!)

Thanks for keeping up with Eiyuden Chronicle! I’ll be waiting to see where the late July patch gets us.
Boltgun still has old bugs like NPC muzzle flash + shell ejection + impact effects going off up to 60 seconds after the NPC has been killed, and the new patch broke the LordOf Change boss hellfire attack - it used to be line of sight but now just gets you anywhere in the level which makes those boss battle pretty much impossible. Other NPCs are also attacking without line of sight which can cause them to start infighting before you even get to them. Also had a few flying enemies attack and damage me through walls. The new update needs an update!
Oh yeah, and the new weapon selection wheel is now slap bang in the middle of the screen and obscures your view for a few seconds after you’ve changed your gun. It proper sucks!

Not merely enjoying this series - The importance of you guys doing this is massive - I always wait for a performance review before I buy and if the game is in a rough state I will wait for your APU series to see if I will go buy it - it is also huge for developers who get a second chance to get sales for their games - good on you guys for doing this series 🙂❤

I bought the Batman Arkham Trilogy for $57 physically, I figured that was a good price for two good games and maybe I can hope that Arkham Knight is due a patch for backwards compatibility with the Switch 2 which is why the devs haven't fixed it.

Thanks for doing this series. Always happy to find out a game I was excited to play but passed on has been finally fixed up.
As I have said before, I have my fingers crossed that Eyuden Chronicles gets a reprint for the physical once the patches are all said and done. Especially seeing how bad it was at launch. It has happened with a few physical switch games.
They owe it to us physical collectors really, bit cheeky releasing it in the state they did

It is really disappointing that such big games won’t get any additional support. Batman and KOTOR 2 are glaring examples. It such a garbage way to treat your customers. More people need to see these videos that highlight good devs who care.

I love when you folks mention if a game has gyro controls or not. While not every game or type of game needs them, I always appreciate when a Switch game has it as an option. Again, thank you guys.

Little Kitty Big City was fun and there were some little bugs but nothing too annoying. My daughter had a blast with this game!

Absolutely love these videos and imo you guys are the best around for showcasing games getting patches and I really appreciate the work you do. And I agree some Devs need a little nudge from time to time to fix these games.

Warhammer 40k Boltgun was unplayable for me because of the audio issues. It was making my stereo speakers pop super loud and I was worried it would damage them. Maybe I'll give it another try to see if they actually fixed anything.

The game "pine" needs an update patch. One of the village monster people are wiped out forever and everytime I run from a fight the system crashes.
Great video, indeed i had no idea these were fixed or not, some devs release before fully fixing everything
Biomutant's 1.0.2 patch also fixed some gameplay bugs. For example- the cave "Hot-hole" in the Kluppy Dunes was unexplorable as the screen would go pitch black as soon as you entered. 1.0.2 has completely fixed this

I honestly don't understand why games likes Eiyuden Chronicles come out in SUCH an atrocious state that they still feel barely playable after several patches. It's sad because I really wanted to give the game a try after Rising but I just can't justify buying it unless it goes on a substantial sale.. ;(
I have put 60 or so hours into biomutant so far, and I am still enjoying it. Just loving it's open world.

Love this series. So nice to see the Patch Results and know what issues are still persisting in a game before commiting to a purchase. Also be useful if a game is getting a physical release which version of a game is likely going to be on the cartridge for that physical release. Apparently The Last Faith is getting a physical release in a few months but they still have some fairly annoying bugs with current version of game. Curious if it will be patched out before physical releases.
The way my wallet will howl when Arkham Knight finally gets fixed. At least Biomutant can go back on my "way outta price range but can always dream" save up list haha

Played Boltgun on Steam Deck and can confirm, gyro makes a huge difference on handheld FPS games

I'm waiting for an update for Pocket Card Jockey Ride On. The in game shop barely appears so it's difficult to feel justified to keep going.
Good to know the Arkham Trilogy isn't worth the huge discount. Was really hoping they'd rerelease Origins at some point. Had to buy the 360 version on eBay just to play it on modern hardware.

I can't believe the TT Isle of Man games do not have gyroscope steering. What a missed opportunity! Especially considering that I believe they do on the ps4

the deal breaker for me with Eiyuden was in fact the random crashes. You really don't want to be playing a jrpg which can have long stretches of grinding and exploring and reading and at any given moment. All that progress is gone because you didn't save or you didn't reach the next auto save point.
It was ESPECIALLY annoying with that Overlord Metroidvania where your saves are counted towards your end of run ranking... meaning you'll try not to save as much as possible. So given how thats never gotten patched... I'm very salty everytime this common port bug occurs. It literally ruins games.
This is my favourite series on the channel, it's just a shame that it has to exist! Some of these games just shouldn't come out at all in the state they were released in. Cheers guys!
Eiyuden Chronicles was one of if not my most anticipated game this year but I held off because of the performance issues. I am glad to see they are making progress and maybe now is about the right time to get it.
Edit: Found a used copy for $17, I figure that is a price worth picking it up for. It is next in my queue once I am done with Super Robot Wars.
I'm anxious to see if Xuan Yuan Sword 7 gets a patch soon! It's in real rough shape 😬

Recently finished Eiyuden, it was terrifying entering your main town.
I looked past the loading screens, but the what made the game difficult to enjoy was soft crashes on the loading screen becoming stuck; was around 20 times (main town mostly)
And random game crashes was around 10.
I would avoid it on switch, patience is abundant in 2024
I rate gyro controls too my guy!!! Boltgun would slap with them (as would most FPS games)!
