Consistently finding and showing up to take position on the -55bb/100 is a sport - probably depends what variation and grouping of poker games/events but I can see it being possible to put something together that would be more sportified
One of the arguments for saying chess is a sport, is the calorie usage. For long matches chess players have been known to burn thousands of calories and physically exhaust themselves through deep concentration abd calculation. There is a parallel to players attempting to balance between GTO, ICM and maintaining an image, doing any table talk plus the long hours. Both are certainly mind sports.

@UtzChips2009 match ups matter a lot. The upside to having top teams is mostly that they are largely used by the remaining field so they have low ownership.
The idea of a mind-sport is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. To preface, I would define any activity turned into a competition to be a game. This can include competitions of strategy, knowledge, hand-eye coordination, or any combination of. Any game that involves physical exertion and or large, physical movements should be defined a sport. Therefore, I would argue there are very clear cut examples of sport: football, boxing, soccer. There are clear cut examples of non-sports but still games: e-sports utilizing a controller or keyboard and mouse, poker - live and online, chess, debate. It gets convoluted when putting the line on physical exertion and movements. F1 and Indy Car drivers put their bodies through immense exertion where as two regular guys taking off from a stop light in their minivans are not really under physical exertion. Golf incorporates big physical movements, where its hard to draw a line how physical darts and corn-hole are.

Fishing is already a sport 🎣
I don’t think there’s that much if any difference between playing video games and playing 24 tables of poker.

I'm calling bullshit on the Tyson has always bitten his gloves theory .I've watched him for 40 years and never seen him do it before.
Yeah, ridiculous narrative. Tyson bit ears, not gloves
He shoves all the chips in then puts his phone in his pocket like he is getting ready to leave.
Octopi is still a correct plural for octopus. Octopuses is also correct, but there is nothing wrong with saying octopi as the plural form.

I love Mike Tyson just keeping it real while talking to a pre-teen. LMAO (That fight was totally rigged.)
What are the odds a big Boxing match is fixed? Now what are the odds THIS one was fixed? Lol has to be close to 85%
If you can smoke and do it ,that isn't a sport, so online poker is not a sport but live poker is.
If when there are 10 weeks left & you have all top 10 teams left that you can pick, you surely have more Ev than someone who only has 5 top 10 teams

Poker is not a sport I think it used to be back in like 2007 back then it was lit, and the table talk was next level.

Mind sport? Ok it’s still not a sport. Neither is chess, golf, darts, or bowling.
