I started watching your videos at the beginning of the week with maybe 1% German that I got from Rammstein songs lol. As of this video, I understand 60-70% of what you're saying. I don't have the words in memory yet, so speaking isn't quite there but I do try repeating them and even thinking of things I see throughout the day in as much German as I can remember lol. Most tourists don’t see snakes when they come to Australia. It’s like being scared of bears in Canada, or worried about tigers when visiting India. I think about 60,000 people die of snake bites in India each year! In Australia about one person die of snake bites each year. Nevertheless I don’t walk through long grass in the countryside. I walk only on trails. Thanks for the German lessons. And don’t listen to those Poms!

A military tank is indeed called "Panzer" in German, but the shell of a turtle is also called "Panzer" (probably because of its shape and sturdiness).

I would say I'm around A2 in German. I can understand a lot more than I can say though.
Don't worry that's the case for everyone. When your comprehension level improves, your ability to produce the language yourself will improve, too. 😊
