I love the way you tell stories, not only because we can understand pretty much everything, but also because I was able to imagine the whole thing. I was shocked when I heard the end, and that's when I realized how immersed I had gotten in the story 🤣

This is the closest to the original of all the Grimm's stories that I learned. In the "updated" version he just winks out of existence. There's something so much more satisfying about him ripping himself in two!!

I think she might have been scared to get killed, if she didn't marry the king, which he would have probably done, if she didn't marry him. Also, when she accepted to give Rumpelstilzchen her not yet born child, she didn't have anything left and couldn't think of something else and was scared to death. Since she didn't have a child yet, she probably wasn't aware how much emotional bond she would have with her child, too. And she might have expected Rumpelstilzchen to not go through with taking it either or thought it would be far into the future etc.
