I can’t imagine getting through the holidays with this trauma… I love you and I am so impressed by you and so proud of what a good job you are doing I was the victim of this same crime when I was 14 by a neighbor. It was the beginning of summer and I know smells, sights and sounds can be triggering. I’m so sorry this happened to you. It doesn’t matter if you were naive. It doesn’t matter how we dress. You did not deserve this and neither did I 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️
The senses really do trigger everything. I just feel for you so much. No child should have to experience that, and it just literally breaks my heart. You’re very right, no one deserves that kind of treatment. It scares me having daughters, I’d hurt someone if they hurt my babies. It’s scary knowing I won’t always be there to protect them. When my kids were small I had a chest I would start in January picking up things for the kiddos for Christmas.. I would hide it all year it made things so much easier on my anxiety
There's nothing wrong with taking a break from everything when you feel you need to. I know all too well that feeling that you have to continually doing something because it may be 'expected of you'... I think that idea of only posting a video on a certain day(s) once a week, and maybe a 'Short' on another day is a good one. It's organising your routine and your Life. Bless your heart. This time of year is hard for me because my dad died on the 18th. Tomorrow it will be 40 years. It is better now. Has been crippling for years. My mother is in the nursing home with Alzheimer’s this year. We are going to have our two local sons and their families here for dinner on the 23rd. I am going to enjoy their company and Praise Jesus.
I’m so sorry about your dad, I know it’s so hard for people that lose loved ones this time of year. It breaks my heart. I’m sorry to hear about your mom, Alzheimer’s is a beast. I used to work in a nursing home & it’s sad when Alzheimer’s sets in. I actually have a video I’ve been working on around Alzheimer’s, it’s more of a creative project. Sending you lots of love. 💕
i am so sorry for what you have gone through and what you are STILL going through. especially with not coming forward so you suffer with the guilt on top of your hurt because you mention he was predatory towards others as well. I hope you find true peace.
