Absolutely amazing video. Really enjoy the stuff you do on this channel and I wasn't expecting a video on cleaning coins to be so interesting.

Sometimes it does! I don't think I've seen yet a video of anything other than beautiful ancient coins being cleaned, that's why I wanted to include that sometimes they are too far gone to be saved.

Wow those coins came out very nice. I have cleaned a few myself; but I mostly clean the very low quality one and I have to reapply patina using Jax patina solution. I like your microscope, I use a USB microscope myself, the one I use is the Plugable usb 200x digital microscope, love that thing, I use it all the time when I conserve my coins and make videos of my work. Great job and keep doing it, take care and be safe out there.

Thank you! I've thought about USB microscopes, I wonder if they are easier on the eyes, but never needed one bad enough to actually buy one. 😉

@@SculptyWorks They are really easy on the eyes, since you are looking at your computer monitor then the ocular eye pieces which can really tire out your eyes; mine costs about $38 dollars USD so its not a bad price to give it a try, and i you wan to seen a sample of the quality, I have videos of me conserving aka cleaning some copper coins, and I just do some basic picture adjustments, but it was the best purchase Ive made for my coin hobby/business at least for me. Thanks for replying.

@@SculptyWorks You can buy it in an archeo shop or in dental stores, the price varies if you only have a needle or you can have a led light and the third version is a needle + led light + water supply or about a liter of water reservoir that flows on the object.
