  • Recorded off the air at a time when "pay TV" channels were broadcast with a sort of copyguard, rendering home recordings dark and often distorted. Nevertheless, the audio is intact, and this is an expansive interview with Stern.

Happy of this interview ! I just shake hands with him after a concert ,he was so inspiring ,with wonderfull partners in chamber music ,his Beethoven ...how to survive playing classical music ,that throw the listener to sounds of the past ,forgotten birds ,far from today noise pollution ...that we ,as interprets ,learn with humility ,as "all life" students ,and sometimes, exceptionaly , masters, when we are bridges between the past and the public ,who ignore the solitude of atelier work , the long preparation before stage ,with so many handicaps (fingers gymnastic, health , instruments failures, strings,météo ,tips but surviving...he was a guide ,like mountain one ,to proove that ,melting hope ,courage, tenacity ,sacrifices ,pain ,Music enjoy Life ...isn't the best school of singing whisling ?

Mr Isaac Stern is or was a Great Pillar for Classical Music, the Violin and Culture in the World. We owe Him a lot. He left us, but He will remain forever in our mind, and thinking as a Great Master to inspire from and to follow. Well done and Bravo !
