I love to layer my MFK Grand Soir with other perfumes in my collection. I picked up Fragrance World- Barakkat Amber Eve as an alternative to keep my Grand Soir from getting too low and I found the Fragrance World dupe EXTREMELY similar!! I’ll have my MFK for years to come lol
Great haul and such great descriptions of them all. Your voice is so soothing. I have been on the fence about Ish Al Shuyukh because of those leathery notes. I bought Lataffa Amethyst and it also has a very anamalic oud that smells of leather that was hard for me at first, and its not traditionally pretty and will not put nose directly to skin, but the sillage in the air you get is so pretty so I feel that would be the same. I went on a Middle Eastern frag binge and have all the others you mentioned and have been LOVING my collection.

Please get it if I’m not wrong it’s been discontinued. I sent a bottle to my female cousin and told her to keep sampling it some magic will happen. First day she straight up said she hates it. I forced her to keep sampling it,3 weeks later it’s a LOVE. This is one of the most Luxurious scents I’ve ever smelled.
@@Dr.Kerleenthe Al Haramain ones are lovely but CAN smell a little like gasoline for a while! the A/H ones really do need to sit but if you have the patience they’ll be really nice scent. If you try to club de nuit ones, they can also be ‘gasoliney’ too. Once they’ve macerated, again, they’ll be lovely.
I have heard different reviewers rave about French Coffee for almost a year before pulling the trigger and purchasing for my birthday. It's such a chocolaty coffee rich fragrance with lots of coconut milk fused with brown sugar. It's pretty good but it isn't your traditional coffee that smells like ground roasted beans. It's definitely creamier and kind of reminds me of the instant flavor coffees that use to be popular in the 90s

@@Dr.Kerleen I just oversprayed it on my wrist, which I never do, and it reminds me of getting a 711 dark roast and putting a bunch of caramel, vanilla, and Irish cream flavored coffee creamers into it with some Raw Sugar packets.
Hey, great reviews I had to learn the hard way about letting your fragrances macerate. when I first started collecting If I didn’t like it, I would give it away, now I always do a spray and sniff, but don’t judge put it away and come back before you pass judgment and even then use it a few times to make sure , although there have been a couple that I just could not stand like complete scrubbers no matter how long they sit but also ones that I hated and now ❤

My favorites right off the pack were qaed al fursan unlimited, musamam white intense, Al nashama, khair pistachio but others are Choco musk, Qissati volume 1. However, I'm letting all of them sit and macerate. I've been on the hunt for ishq al shuyukh for a while now. It sounds like right up my alley

Recently got French Coffee and IT’S SO STRONG!! 😭 I’m leaving it for a few weeks in the hopes that the scent develops a bit, bc I know the first few sprays aren’t indicative of the actual scent. Fingers crossed it becomes a scent I like bc it’s my first coffee scent 😅
If you like Ishq al shuyukh, then try Arabiyat Nayel Queen. Its an inspiration of YSL babycat. Its sooooooo good. Its giving the Angel's Share -Khamrah situation. Im so grateful for middle eastern scent.
So much drama about Ishq Al Shuyukh Gold. I get no gasoline lol I get leather and suede yes and an amazing dry down on me. One of the most unique fragrances ever. If it’s this good when new I can only imagine what it will be like once it’s macerates
Mine was a love at opening too. Now I am gonna order a backup and two more as a gift for people who smelt it and liked it on me❤❤❤❤. I am hooked on this.

I got the Isqh al Shuyukh for my Dad and he has ditched his favourite scent. Its now his new favourite. Nayel queen is my favourite. They smell similar but Nayel queen is more feminine in my opinion. I went from hating them completely to loving them absolutely. Just be patient with them.
Wow! That's saying a lot🥰 Lattafa has some amazing scents that rival many deisgner/niche brands. It's gotten a but too intense for me as it's starting to warm up where I live, but it is a great scent...esp. after maceration.
@@Dr.KerleenLol thats not how insulin works from someone with a med science degree, maybe if the scent makes you hungry and you eat 😂 I see where the perception might have a difference in how food is stored in the body with a study in mice and a study in how well someone can smell affecting their bmi but stick to peer reviewed research when things like this are in question. Thats just not how insulin works thank goodness no glucose no insulin spike, no matter how sweet something may smell theres no glucose in it to enter the bloodstream or Id be huge

You have just given me hope that it will evolve into what the reviewer sold me on lol. I love leather in fragrances but this was awful when I sprayed it yesterday. Thank you for stating before hand that this one needs to sit. I will try it again in a few weeks.
At least you got it this time of year. Let it sit for about three months to see the magic. You have to have patience with this one but it’s worth it. 🙌🏾 Macerate it and take the top off. If you must use it sooner, you still will need to let it sit for a month and then decant it. I’ve had mine since last November. 🥰 I can’t wait until fall.
I have Choco Musk, Qissa Pink, Soft, Khamrah, Ambre Eve, Khair Pistachio, Yara and Yara Tous. Some are sitting because they are new but rn I love Soft the most I love the citrusy powdery sweetness next is Khamrah omg its so good my husband constantly compliments it then Qissa pink, truly a pink drink while still being fresh my coworker kept sniffling me until I sent her the link 😂
@@Dr.Kerleen I would say Yara, its less powdery and more fruity than Yara but not enough to have both but enough that I don’t wear my Yara if that makes sense? It did have to sit awhile to get its full profile though

I have french coffee and I find it to not be very sweet, but the coffee bean note takes over to my nose. Dark Roast
