The TL is such a rare build it's always gonna pull views. The heads cant clack like that & they are easy to adjust by owner. For built php heads tighten the tolerance 3mm or so. Example 9intake, 11 exhaust. Only 1 upgrade left ... Get with S1 built for the awd kit. Cheers !

I knew that sound was the timing belt tensioner I was about to comment until you put those texts up confirming it. I would use OEM timing belt tensioner
I thought you didn’t need clutch for straight cut???
No sir, still gotta use the clutch. What you may be thinking of is truck gearing where you basically “float” gears. You can float gears with a standard manual transmission in pretty much any car, but I wouldnt recommend it unless your clutch is worn out.
The Uniden R7 or R8 will keep your speed at the speed limit and allow you to not get pulled over from a lead foot.

Thanks for the suggestion but not exactly a solution for me. I’ve daily my car enough to know what speed is the speed limit despite the speedometer being off. It’s really not that hard. Not to mention applying common sense when you are driving in certain areas, you can clearly tell when you are going to fast. Someone did mention a module solution a while back on one of the TL FB groups or J Series FB groups. But I didn’t save the link posted.
@tliscioustypesex6iixboss359 understood, but 4those that want added protection or advanced warning this is a great benefit, especially if you want to have fun a quarter of a mile out prior 2 seeing 🫐 & 🍒 . Plus, they don't really need a reason 🚔 they can just make one up, funny thing is some sheriffs are getting all black 392s now 😆. Also, no one reallying escapes radar or laser, they just avoid it. At any rate, stay safe and b well. Great build.
They can have 392s all they want. They can’t handle turns like the TL can 😂
@@jraymond6062 well true which is why I said it’s not a solution for “me.” I’m still gonna try finding a solution for the Speedo but for now, I’m not even driving the TL. @brotherlyreviews has it for safe keeping while I’m away. It’s been a year now and I do miss driving it. But in time I will be reunited.

That’s the manual timing belt tensioner that you’re hearing. It has been adjusted since I shot this video. Doesn’t tick anymore.
