Sphinx SDP Compact vs CZ P-07 : Rolex vs a Timex? These are Both Great Guns! 👊🏼 Check Out MD Polo’s Channel : / mdpolo Like, Share and Subscribe! Carry on! 🤘🏼
Thanks for the shout out brother. Actually, the video that I’m working on right now is comparing the Phoenix Fusion with the CZ P07. Rolex vs Timex is a perfect analogy. Thanks again and God bless.
Thanks! Great pistols both. I have the CZ-P07. I have not had the opportunity to try the Sphinx. I also have the CZ Shadow 2 which I have yet to shoot. Looking forward to it!
Not from a lack of trying but I always go back to the p07 for carry. I did have a Sphinx but sold it. It was on the chopping block to fund that DWX vaporware. Have an OD p07 with a 507c, and I still go back to the out of the box p07. It does have some night fision sights on it but 4k rounds and some change it needs nothing to impress me. Just weird like that. Have TONS of carry options and that damn thing just sticks to me.
I have 2 P01 compact tacticals. The interior parts are polished, leaving zero machine marks. Calling CZ products timexes and pintos is snobbery in the extreme, especially when you tout a pistol on which you can barely manipulate the trigger.
I’ve got two PO7s, one milled for an optic and the other not. They’re my favorite handguns. I don’t (yet) have a Sphinx but would gladly check one out. The big selling point to the 07, for me anyways, isn’t just the aftermarket support but also the mag compatibility with my P10C/P10F. Do you know of any companies that mill Sphinxes for optics?
@@BigJohnsonGG right on. What about IWI Jericho and Magnum baby eagle? These two cz clones are also combat proven but just with a slightly different safety mechanism and controls. I personally always prefer decockers on frames.
@@BigJohnsonGG I have cz 75 sp01 and p01, with triggers upgraded on both. I also have many other cz clones from SAR and other clones. I was very attempting to get p07 recently, but just don't see much difference/advantage compared to p01, other than lighter polymer frame and convertible safety. Thoughts? To put you in my shoes, will you get a p01 even you already have a fully upgraded p07?
@flyfishing101 I had a P-01 and it was to small for me so I sold it. I much prefer the P-07 over the P-01 for me. I have 2 P-07’s and 2 P-09’s, I’ve even upgraded one of each of them. I have detailed vids on all of them.
It has a flatter type trigger, not the fish hook type. Also some even come with the extra safety in the box in a small bag to switch them over if you want. All mine did, I haven’t seen a non Omega version made in many years. Thanks for Watching, Carry On
@@BigJohnsonGG thanks! I bought mine used cause I couldnt find a new one. He had the safety installed and I had to convert it back to decocker. I appreciate the info!

Damn I've neglected your channel for to long. How's it going bud?
@@ozthegreater9320 Good Man, how about you?
@@BigJohnsonGG doing great bud. Just been pretty busy.
P07 hands down. Good choices on those upgrades for your gig, which will make a good HD night stand gun.
Nice pair of firearms. Will have to go with the P-07 for the aftermarket support you mentioned.
Thanks man, Carry On

When will you finish it ?

I’m a huge CZ Shadow 2 fan I have 3 of them, 2 have been tricked out. Thanks for Watching, Carry On
@@BigJohnsonGG My pleasure. On my way to your Shadow 2 videos.

Get a grip tulip. 🙄 Carry On
Got both and love them both. Spot on comparison.
Thanks Brother, Carry On
Well, I believe I'd go with the CZ personally. I've been wanting a CZ for quite a while now
The fact you didn’t mention the Sphinx’s trigger first tells me I wouldn’t pay the difference over the CZ (which I own). Thanks for the comparison 👍
Stock trigger pulls are about the same, Just smoother on the Sphinx.
Thanks for Watching, Carry On
With the Modern Weapon System trigger kit that I have in the Sphinx..it’s super sweet. I’m not a big fan of the stock hooked trigger. Carry on
I got rid of my Sphinx , didn't really offer anything extra for me and lack of aftermarket support didn't help
They definitely don’t offer much. Carry on
Keep up the great content!

True on the mags. Yes vulcanmachinewerks can mill the Sphinx, I just haven’t decided to do it yet. Thanks for Watching, Carry On
Nice pistol, I like my 07
SDP looks so much like BT MKII? Do you have any comments on the differences between them? thanks.
It’s the exact same gun with just a different name on it. There are no differences, Sphinx made them first and then sold out.
@@BigJohnsonGG right on. What about IWI Jericho and Magnum baby eagle? These two cz clones are also combat proven but just with a slightly different safety mechanism and controls. I personally always prefer decockers on frames.
@@flyfishing101 Pretty much the same. IMO I would have a true CZ over them.

I'm new to hammer fired cz's, and I'm not sure if all p07's are omegas, and if not, hot to tell if mine is or isnt.

Good Deal, Then yours is definitely the Omega.
