Awesome!! Thankyou! Just made my first of many I think☺️ Other vids didn't mention the P & q thing .. Which for me was what made it all make sense & easier to keep track of where I was up to. I used much thicker sort of silk paracord type cord. It's a beautiful shiny muted gold/fawn. I am a fibre crafts woman so I have HEAPS of thinner thread to use too. Can't wait to see the different results. I haven't finished the adjustable finish today. But first thing tomorrow it will be done👏🏻 Thanks for a brilliant straight forward beginners tutorial. Thanks for your time & effort too😊

Seriously where has this video been!!! I tried about 5 times trying to do this using a picture and written instructions...found this video and now I can do the braid with the whole P Q thing ! Thanks so much.

Love your video. When working with a long needle and a cord that is too short, you can always feed the needle in halfway or so, THEN put the cord through the eye, and finish pulling the needle through.
    BTW, you're adorable!

just a quick tip, when you are sewing your ends in through the knots, put the needle through the knots first and then insert the cord and then pull, the ends are too short and that is how i wave my tails in when i crochet, excellent job girl, I need one for work and now I know how to mae them! thanks!!

you've probably figured this out by now, but for others I would suggest one thing for when you are weaving your ends back into the bracelet and your thread is too short...(Tip...thread the sharp end up through your loops until the eye of the needle gets closer to your knots without going through them .Then thread your short thread end through the eye of the needle then and pull through.) I do this in crocheting when I didn't leave myself enough yarn to weave my ends in. CUTE Bracelets!

Great video! I'm almost done with my bracelet- I'm making it with 6-strand embroidery floss and it is coming out well- very dainty and pretty. The only problem I had was I had to redo the block in the back because when I tried to thread the string back through I accidentally pushed the needle through the center strands, too, and then it wouldn't slide. Putting the needle in backwards the way you did would have helped.

@ Jacquie Moran It's colored hemp string. You can get it at a craft store or even Walmart. You could probably use embroidery floss, but it won't hold up as much and it's more difficult to work with.

great tutorial! and they are so cute! I have watched so ,any good tutorials but I wonder why they always have music. the music is distracting. the music is usually just as loud as the voice so it is harder to hear. the speaker. also how about using a flexible beading needles with the collapsible Eye?

It's in the aisle with the little girls boxed craft sets. You can get them in packs of a bunch of different colors. Unfortunately if you ask the employees for it, they're not the most thoroughly trained, so they probably aren't much help.
