@Leland Matt it looks like he grab another pot because the second one looks a little bigger but even if he didn't so what people eat steak with blood all the time and there is other people who eats their steak raw so no it didn't change my opinion have a bless day

전 타이중에 야시장말고 진짜 스테이크 하우스 갔었는데 한화 약 8000원 정도의 가격에 쇠고기스테이크+면+계란후라이+빵+수프 세트로 먹었죠. 맛도 좋고 가격도 좋아서 만족스러운 기억이 나네요
여기 많이 봤는데.. 사람 엄청 많네요 꼭 먹어보고싶네요 ㅎㅎ

One of my favorite childhood food when I lived in Taiwan! I don't know if this was place but I remember you could either get a black pepper sauce or mushroom sauce
It is the same as I ate in Taiwan 40 years ago. Pork was NT$50. And steak was NT$60 then.

Anike TK as a Taiwanese l say that we need to be honest, you will never be able to buy “real meat” for 1 steak serve for under 5 USD. For the video the “meat product” is apparently molded meat product. Import beef from US or Australia come in different grading, for sure, we cannot say those are low qty at all. You can save patriot in other places. Again, 我也是台灣人

The cheap cut. Skirt steak often seen in Golden Corral Buffet in US.

As a local, i wouldn't recommend it.
The steak has no meat taste, all flavour is coming from sticky sauce. The noodle is totally not chewy.
What worse is the free corn soup full of greasy butter and flour to make soup looks thick.

i have had in in kaoshing and its delicious
Compare it to steak house or ramen shop, what amy said is true. The meat's quality isn't good and the sauce is kinda sweet (for me). But consider the price(4~5USD) of this dish and serving on the street, I think it's tolerable.
Depend on person, you might think a tastelessness were on tongue but anyone who tried once they may be impresse,who know?
