Tom Hunting never gets enough credit- just pure professional for the last 40 years. He is so suited to Gary Holts riffs. Definitely in the top 5 thrash/speed metal drummers of all time. As for Garry Holt…well never enough plaudits for a bloke who has written some of the most brutal metal riffs ever. Two absolutely underrated linchpins of the thrash / speed metal genre. 🤘

You know ya can't have someone like Bing Crosby sing for Exodus, but damn Zetro's voice sounds just so damn harsh on most songs. Toxic Waltz, Scar Bangled Banner, Shroud of Urine, and Salt in the Wound, are the only songs where he fits in well. They need somebody like Kyle Thomas, Anselmo, or whomever along those lines.
Zetro just isn't good. He only knows one approach -- frantically squeally-screaming with no feeling -- and he can't get outside of it. Very one-dimensional. He's the weak point of this band. I have no idea why they traded Rob Dukes back for him. Maybe they get along with him personally or something, but he's no vocalist.

So absolutely correct! They've been kicking ass for so many years and yet they still have the energy of teenagers on stage. Gary, Tom, Jack, Lee and Steve are all such outstanding musicians and showmen, along with Paul, Rick , Kirk, and Rob! I am SO fucking proud to say Exodus is my favorite band of all time - and anyone that has seen them live knows why!

But others like Greenhouse Effect, Careful What You Wish for, and (oddly enough) even Fall of Siple Dome fell kinda flat. Also about time they ditch Practice What You Preach from the set.
