What we have observed working on this series of 200+ episodes is, stating clearly what the user should expect while watching the video limits the hate comments. Salam Aleikum Sayed Qazwini. I’m Shia. My opinion, and I don’t like defending Ayesha, is that she was NO LONGER the active wife of the Prophet (PBUH) because the Prophet (PBUH) had passed away. She was now a widow or ex-wife of the Prophet (PBUH), not a wife anymore. The marriage bond between her and her husband became null and voided the moment when the Prophet (PBUH) had passed away.
    Does that make her innocent? My opinion is Ayesha still made wrong by opposing Imam Ali (AS) and the Ahlul Bayt, and was responsible for the deaths that occurred at the Battle of Jamal.
    But Ayesha simply violating verse 33:33, again in my opinion, I don’t she did. She was not a wife anymore but an ex-wife or widow.

    • @Thaqlain
      @Thaqlain  Год назад +4

      Alaykum Salaam. The rule was applicable on them specially after Prophet's demise. Because during Prophet's lifetime they already had to take his permission, him being the husband.

    • @nemf.696
      @nemf.696 Год назад +1

      @@Thaqlain Salam Sayed…thank you very much for responding. Unfortunately, I still didn’t understand the reason. If possible, please provide a reference to a Quran verse or Hadith that a prophet’s ex-wife or widow has to stay confined to her home even after her prophet husband passes away.
      I couldn’t find anything in the Quran regarding widows of prophets in this specific regard. The closest thing I found is in Quran verse 2:234 which states that the widow has to wait for 4 months 10 days after the death of her husband before she has total freedom to move on with her life.
      My logic is this: The wife of a prophet is no longer an ACTIVE wife of a prophet after a prophet passes away. That’s it, the marriage bond had ended when one spouse dies. There is no longer a husband and wife relationship. The woman becomes the ex-wife or former wife of a prophet after death, or widow. So what Ayesha did with regards to the Battle of Jamal is not in violation of Quran verse 33:33 according to common logic. Again, because she was no longer the wife of the Prophet (PBUH) at that point in time because the Prophet (PBUH) was deceased. In other words, Ayesha became a single woman after the death of her husband, and had her total freedom after 4 months and 10 days according to Quran verse 2:234.

    • @Thaqlain
      @Thaqlain  Год назад +3

      Hadith literature is pretty clear on this matter. That once a woman agrees to marry the Prophet she is married to him for her life and can not marry anyone else. If you have any proves from hadith that present the theory that you are presenting we will be definitely open to look into it.

    • @nemf.696
      @nemf.696 Год назад +1

      @@Thaqlain Salam aleikum, I really appreciate you responding, and greatly appreciate the time you are giving me. To be honest with you, I do not go by Hadiths, whether it is Shia or Sunni, and I’m Shia. I go solely by the Quran. The Hadiths are man’s words that can be played with or manipulated by bribes or powerful figures in politics. No matter the source of the Hadith, I cannot have 100% confidence in what is being said. With the Quran, however, I have no doubt whatsoever.
      I know that a prophet’s wife cannot remarry because the Quran implies it. But the question is not whether she can remarry, but is that, does the widow have to stay put in her house even after her prophet husband passes away?
      The Hadith you mentioned is that the woman is the wife of a prophet for life. But does the Quran say this? So, if a prophet dies, is his spouse a wife or a widow? In other words, the title of “widow” cannot be applied to a prophet’s wife after the prophet passes away? If it is not worded in the Quran, then I believe this topic is debatable.
      My conclusion is that Ayesha is a widow who cannot remarry but can leave her house after 4 months 10 days after the death of the Prophet (PBUH) according to the Quran. Did the Prophet (PBUH) forbid or permit Ayesha otherwise? No one knows for sure, so no one can say Ayesha violated verse 33:33 with 100% certainty.

    • @Thaqlain
      @Thaqlain  Год назад +1

      Had that been the case Umm Salamah and other wives wouldn't have admonished Ayesha when she went to war. Neither Ayesha ever justified. So it seems the understanding of the wives of the Prophet was pretty clear on this matter.

    • @corpsefoot758

      This violation is not controversial. Anybody who believes so is denying history
      What’s more, condemnation of Sahaba is found in Bakri sources themselves, such as Bukhari 6586; therefore, if such “controversy” is written down as “Sahih” by millions of Muslims across the planet, then who are we to shy away from it
      At one time it was dangerous for many Shi’a to highlight such references, because it endangered their lives just to speak on the topic. But now there are two types of Shi’a whose continuing silence is having an adverse effect for educating our Sunni brethren on the error of their ways:
      1) Those Shi’a who passively inherited this silence until their voice was simply erased from society (allowing a void which was then filled by Sunni/Takfiri replacements), and
      2) Those Shi’a who today are so actively concerned about upsetting their Sunni friends/neighbors/family/spouses (unfortunately) that they simply surrendered the importance of Lady Fatima & her public stance against the crooked Khulafa, abandoning her legacy in an age wherein both the safety of Western countries & the freedom of internet access leave us with no more excuses away from doing our duty

      Here’s the one point I struggle with though, before condemning Aisha completely: doesn’t every single sinner feature this same Jahiliyya, because our ongoing sin proves that we’re not so concerned about the punishment waiting for us all in the hereafter?
      In other words, if someone truly believed in the afterlife & Judgement Day, wouldn’t they be wise enough to never sin in the first place? And since only Masumin are sinless, doesn’t every single Muslim (even Mo’min) still hold SOME level of ignorance, because otherwise we’d never stray from the path for a single moment in this life?🤷‍♂️
