Rhode Island's coastline is very small but holds a couple amazing beaches and scenic waterfronts and gives definition to the state nickname, "The Ocean State". Just west of famous Newport, Rhode Island and a short ride south of Providence. Misquamicut Beach attracts crowds from all over southern New England for its beautiful sandy beach and ocean scenery. The quiet beach has a few small eateries, and gift shops but doesn't intrude on it's beautiful beach with overbearing tourist and gift shops, keeping the beach quiet, serene, and everything you hope for in a beach day away from it all
I hope you enjoy this beach walk in Westerly, RI. The purpose of these videos is to bring some relaxation or showcase tourist destinations in their natural state without music or narration allowing the location to be the character. It is such an awesome place. I don't get to go to Rhode Island often but this beach is worth the trip every time
@@MileMarker4k We (well, my parents and their family) had a cottage there right next to a little isolated bay back in the late 80s early/90s. I remember loving swimming in the ocean (but the wipe-outs were savage) but the little isolated bay near the cottage was amazing. I wonder if it's still around? It's been well over 20 years since I've been there. Anyway thanks for the vid! :)

It can be. Generally warmer than maine/mass but not by much 😂 later in the summer it warms up a bit.
