watching eric go through most of the game without the stats to use his weapon properly, without getting any sacred tears, and without using any summons is the most unhinged thing i've seen in a while. it's incredible.

18 hours, almost 400 deaths, and 2 Shardbearers later, he finally realizes the talismans are a thing.
I cant be too hard on him, though. aside from the whole first playthrough thing, *I* didn't even notice he wasn't using talismans until that moment.

Does anybody else think that when pumpkin heads slam their face in the the ground they’re trying to break free of the pumpkin helmet…? Are we the bad guys?
If you read the helmet description it gives some lore on the pumpkin head. They like the helmet.

You can see if you are in the range of a Stake by the buffs under your stamina bar: if the statue is there, you're under the influence (of the Stake). ;)

I wanna go on record and say this to anyone who says anything about Eric using the summons on Radahn: Eric was doing just as well as if not better than Blaidd, and Blaidd is a right badass who was kicking it each and every battle he was summoned for.

I guess this is the "Average gamer" I keep hearing about. Reads nothing. Barely pays attention. Sprints through the game from major boss to major boss with barely any exploration. Doesn't really understand game mechanics and barely even looks at anything he gets. The kind of person they have to constantly dumb down new games for.
