I try this thing where I put my phone out of my sight and if I need to look things up on Google (which I need to quite often) I make a list of all those things and when I finish a portion of studying I go back to my phone (to a different room/different part of the same room to distinguish it from the study area) and look everything up at once and then set a timer for a 10 minute break.
I remove my phone and keep it far away from me. I use my laptop to do Google searches. Also, I use Forest app to help me not get distracted and leave my phone alone.

I always study like that before starting my classes (i'm in med school and our uni let's us see what are we going to study for the semester and tells which books we are going to use so it's easy to find things) and when we start classes i know a lot about each subject so i participate a lot on class and since i also help my classmates explaining them something they dont understand, everything just stays in my mind so i dont have to actually study in exams week and still pass
@hasnae yakine i think my best advice would be for you to try and see what works best for you since everyone learns things in a different way; for example, some people records what the teacher says in class and then they just listen to it as if it was a song and they study like that, some people watches videos and take notes from them (or not) and they study like that, for me i take notes and higlight the parts i didnt understand or the words i dont know then when i have free time i search them up until i finally understand everything and i think that is the best way and easier cuz you dont try to learn or study them but you actually understand and when you understand completely a topic its really hard to forget it... i hope i was of help, i wish you good look and please remember to take care pf yourself even if you are really busy, i know med school is hard but at the same time beautiful. How do you study for three hours straight and not even take a break once? I have to take a 5 minute break every 30 minutes or else I get really uncomfortable

Get the Forest app. You can't use social media whilst studying but you can still research definitions etc. It helps me a lot
