- This is my tour of NKOTB homes? and hang outs in 1990. It was filmed and edited by my fabulous uncle Johnny :) It's my permed hair and acid washed glory! UPDATE: 4/8/10 Happy to say, thanks to Flickr I have verified that the FIRST house was in fact Joey's!! Only took 20yrs to figure out!

This brought back some memories!! I went to Boston many times and have been to all of those places (and then some)! Yes, the 1st house is the house Joe grew up in at 20 Orchard St.
I know Joe comes from a different part of Boston besides Dorchester. I always thought it was a more upscale part.

That’s why I don’t understand the “we were poor and on the streets” story. Were these guys really that deprived growing up, or were they just using the classic “rags to riches” line to get more attention?
CodyCole80 as I understand it that house was part of their father’s job, he was a clergyman, and although it looks quite posh now and indeed would be worth a lot of money, Dorchester in the 1980’s was a really bad area of Boston and houses like this sold for next to nothing because no one wanted to live in the neighbourhood. They are not at all lying about their upbringing. Even when I lived there in the early 00s Dorchester was still an area with lots of problems associated with poverty, gangs and guns. It maybe was a little better than in the 80s but still very much ‘the ghetto’ to use the colloquial!
@@CodyCole80 they got thoses houses after they got famous. The Knights got that house in 1990 went they were really big

Wow, I just realized dannys House is in one of his newer videos “ hold on” if I’m not miss taken it’s had a pant job RED house now.
These days, you have to go to 2 or 3 separate states just to get a glimpse of them.
Danny lives in Florida, Jon lives in upstate New York, Joey and Donnie live in LA, and Jordan I believe still lives in Boston. I could be wrong.
Joey said recently that he moved his family back to the East Coast-NY because he’s heavily working on Broadway. And Donnie lives in Chicago with his wife Jenny. You’re correct about Danny though. I have no idea about the Knight brothers.

Everyone claims Dorchester was like the hood. I don’t see it. The houses they grew up in were like mansions compared to were I’m from.

Danny's house was that his parents house he had bought them? Joey's house #1 &2 did he lived in both houses?

It's actually late 80s - early 90s fashion.
