I can relate dude. After 11 years, I went back to Senegal to visit my grandparents and the first thing that scared was when I tried to put on my seat belt, my grandma said “No need, you can have it off.” I’m currently staying in Touba and we also have frequent blackouts for no reason. I’m just glad we have air conditioning.
i was in senegal this summer too twin
I remember last time i was in Dakar, the blackouts were almost daily. But as soon as we went to Saly, no blackouts. Then, we went to Koungheul...

I'm in The Gambia right now and it's so FUN! I also went to the crocodile pool and we were going to see the monkeys but we forgot to get the tickets... First time on a plane and to a different country! Definitely worth the waking up at around 05:00 the three hour drive and the six hour flight! (The roads are very chaotic though) 🇬🇲🇬🇲🇬🇲
I have a very interesting security story. A few months ago, I was flying to Salt Lake to visit my Grandparents. and cause I have long hair, I get missgendered as a girl. So the security lady was like, "Ima need u to step aside. I'm going to have to do a groin search, because we have a big notification." So me being a dumbass, I wasn't listening. I was about to have this lady cop a feel, when my mom was like, "he's a boy." AND THE LOOK ON THAT LADIES FACE. She like blushed and apologized. To this day, I still think it's funny as hell.
same bro I was in salt lake to lmao

The electricity randomly shutting off, the kumpo, the monkey park, the alligator zoo, this is too relatable 😂! It's nice seeing my fellow Gambians on RUclips.

honestly Gambia might par Poland in our cars, we have so many cars from the 60s and 70s that we literally have millions of them still on the roads, with no air, radio, seatbelts, roll down windows, no interior lights besides the odometer when the headlights are on, and no gas tank gauge, oh and these things basically became a fiat 500 when you crash at 50kmh
