im thinking that crystal is a naaru, it shares the same shape as the core of a naaru, im thinking the naaru battled the void lord and fell into azeroth and is fighting off the corruption of the void, it would make sense if how the harbinger is trying to bring in the void lord that the polar opposite being of light of an equal power would try to fight it

Poor Mordiell. I always preferred Discipline Priest myself for healing and if it's her first time healing you guys should've tried a follower dungeon until she got familiar with it 😢

Solo dungeons? So basically rifts in Diablo lol
It flex scales with the number of players like Rifts and like Horrific Visions.
Torments were basically built off diablo dungeon crawl model..... u even break pots and stuff for random loot. The affixes they started in torments or mythic + was also borrowed from diablo. I think sometimes it works to take good concepts from other games and bake it into wow. I would love some good challenging solo content.

Dying in retail is a higher chance than classic, even doing world content is deadly if you went to the wrong places, you just didn't play enough content to see what it has to offer, also you can see them dying a lot in fights for stuff that are not bugs. Yeah, you can't die easily if you accidentally pulled an extra mob or 2 like Classic and you heal pretty quick, but mobs are much smarter and have mechanics that can literally 1 shot you even if you are super geared if you did not counter them properly.
You are joking right? Classic mechanics are so hilariously brain dead, go do a retail raid or high M+ key and you'll realise how simplified classic actually is for today's standards.

they really need to either reset wow or do a wow 2 where everyone starts from scratch because I wanna try retail but there is no way I'm playing a mmo where I am like 15 years behind people.. so boring

This narrative is so boring. You don't need any of the cosmetics or achievements that aren't obtainable anymore. Neither the ones you van still farm. You can join the game and yes it'll be a lot at first but so is literally any mmo that I've played (specially stuff like POE and Lost ark). If anything I'd argue that instead of being 20 years behind you simply have so much more to discover if you like that kind of stuff. I play with brand new people weekly and I promise you they are having a great time right now
you're not 15 years behind, because you're not being forced to play every expansion ever. it's not like jumping into cata prepatch where you'll go through TBC and wrath during levelling, you get to CHOOSE what you experience until you get to the latest content.

@thrakner yes, and the best thing about that is that now unlike previous expansions you can 'finish' a season. I literally am done around 3-4 weeks into every season with everything I wanna do and then I can choose to play something else or farm for other things or play other characters. In previous expansions it was literally never ending and basically a second job.
As someone who’s never played past wrath, I have to say literally nothing I’ve seen in retail is anything more than “making the problems worse” and delves are another shining example of classic streamers saying they love community and group content, and then turning around and promoting purely solo retail bullshit. You guys complain about the shit you literally beg for, retail players are insane
You've never played wrath, how can you form an opinion on retail? Play the game you like rather than whine about something you've never played
delves are solo, but they are very slow and do not give good gear, it seems to mostly be for learning how your class/roll works for new players. which is very good for the game
You just said you haven't played retail for over a decade, how do you know what retail players are asking for?
Another example of someone who plays purely classic, and will bash retail despite not knowing literally anything about it.

@@mynameiscal3478 also, look at history? Wow retail was failing that’s why they invested more than half their labor into classic servers. Because it’s a game more people want to play. I played legion and bfa but didn’t raid to the end so I don’t say that I really played them because just hanging out in azeroth isnt really playing the game.
Like 90% of content released by retail creators is complaining about retail and wishing it was more like classic in one way or another. No one is out here begging fo solo mythic raiding or a fully single player experience but here we are.
