you should name it old blue. My grandfather had a 1996 Chevrolet 1500 Silverado and the family named it old blue then it was passed down to my cousin and the trans blew so now it just sit at my aunts house. Keep up the great work
For what it's worth, the way the doors are closing at that age is rare! These trucks are notorious for heavy front doors that start to sag over-time, so a nice smooth close on that truck is a great find!
I go a bit deeper and put in a new battery, radiator/coolant flush and new t-stat, and fuel filter change. Especially if I have no service records. If the original fuel pump hasn't been changed at that mileage I'd be looking at getting that done soon and have the transmission fluid and filter changed sometime. Belts and hoses I inspect also.
Maybe name should be ole blu? Also those running boards are killing it for me with those bfgs. I think it would look so much better without them just saying?

The only ever option for a 4 door tahoe was the 350.
You are forgetting sparkplugs/wires/ distributors/ or coil packs. It’s a must do on used cars
