132. Walthers 90 Turntable and Roundhouse Operational w/LEDS

Today all my service tracks on the turntable are now working and setup. Took awhile to get it all working. Had a minor problem with the Track in the roundhouse when I glued it down I got glue on the track and I should have thoroughly cleaned them before I put the roundhouse on the layout. I had to remove the roundhouse from the layout and it was a good thing I wired everything as a quick disconnect the allow me to do so. Now all clean and ready to go. LED's on the Bumpers (RED) and LED's in the Round House (White) are standard LEDs I used a 1000 ohm resistor on the plus led of the LED.

you sure got a lot of wires hanging down but you got the lights and turntable going looking good tom

That's very nice Tom. To make the locomotives run on and off the tracks without them touching each other, did you have to wire the service tracks on the edge of the pit or did you do something else with them? I can't get my locos to run on and off the turntable without pushing the rails between the bridge and the servie tracks.

Kyle, I spaced my Service tracks so the engines would not hit them. The wires are on the end of each service track.

Wow, Thomas. I wish I would have seen how you wired all of that. Do you plan to put lights in the roundhouse too? It’s working really well, nice job.

Derek Each stall in the roundhouse has a LED when I turn on the track power the LED comes on and on the services track the bumper has an LED and that lights up when I switch track power on too simple to do need help let me know
