Long ago I used to speak Yiddish, so, I didn't understand most of what he said, but his routine is pretty funny. I used to do comic imitations with various accents at home parties, and setting up a joke and a monologue takes talent, preparation and quick wit in case you need to change something on the fly. This guy knows his shtick and does a great monologue. He did prepare for this and is quick witted. My hat's off to this guy...even if I didn't understand him.

there are two main languages you could call "jewish": one is Hebrew as officialy spoken in Israel and derived from byblical aramaic, thus semitic; but what you hear in this video is yiddish, which has some hebrew loanwords but is based on old German and is thus a germanic language - like english!

Hebrew precedes Aramaic by a long shot. Not derivative at all.

Translation would not help since the jokes are culture dependent

@Epfraim - Koil Isruail bechezkas kashrus. Anyway, if he isnt a yid, whats the big problem he learns yidish and makes clean jokes for yidn?
As long as he doesnt put tefilin, get a alyas hatoire, etc it's fine. he's into the fun of yidiskeit. and he makes the kehile more lebdik. he lives lifnim meshuras hadin... and by acting chassidish it puts him away from avayres
