I loved this mountain hike. Seeing the sun setting into the clouds was intensely beautiful. Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I learn interesting things from Peter about clouds ⛅️ Fascinating!
We were here last week and the whole plateau below Mount Teide is beautiful. We also hiked around the Chinyero volcano. The trail goes through the lava field. An unforgettable experience...
Waaauuuu what a classic tag along video..congratulations ❤️ guys ..the sunset with the sea of clouds..the wonderful views keep on going guys...blessings
Hey guys! So I always watch your videos on my Amazon fire stick on my TV and there is no commenting feature on that, so I apologize, I have never commented! But I went on my phone today to comment because I know comments help build up your RUclips profile. 👍🏼👍🏼 I just wanted to say you guys are by far my favorite RUclipsrs, and thank you so much for making your cool, interesting and genuine videos! Whether it’s working at your country home, going on little adventures locally, or your super cool vacations, I just enjoy your guys’ attitudes on life and your love for each other. 💕 😃 The desert-type environment you guys are in on that island reminds me a lot of where I live in Arizona (south western US), except we have the big Saguaro Cacti here. 🌵🌵 Hope your having a wonderful spring guys! It’s about to get hot 🥵 here haha! ☀️ ☀️
Hi Cody, thank you very much for your kind words, we really appreciate it 😊 Happy to hear that you enjoy our videos and we feel honoured that you went on your phone to comment - it's always the nicest feedback 😉 We would love to see such big cacti one day 😁
Wow! That sunset was beautiful! I could see it on a postcard. Also, I think Peter’s shoes were smiling at the views 😄. Thanks for taking us with you. Again, good editing & good music. You guys are awesome!
Oh guys, that wonderful music when you were walking towards the volcano, has the flavor and color of Spain. It fits perfectly with that landscape, in front of which, one feels so small. That sunset, artistically captured, was truly, truly epic. It takes the breath away. Nature always in command. Thanks guys, for another ooutstanding video. Happy Easter for you and your families.
Glad you liked it! Peter always tries to find music that fits the mood as well as the region/place. The sunset was unforgettable! It was such a coincidence but we're glad we were there. Happy Easter!
Hi guys, what a wonderful hike and the sea of clouds looks stunning and yes Peter "WOW" I can only imagine what experience it must have been, take care of each other
Peter, you are a wild and crazy guy. It's good you have Tommy to stay to make sure you did survive! Beautiful vistas, though, that you were able to share with us scaredy-cats.
Truly breathtaking! You guys have taken us to a western movie landscape. Spectacular! «Once Upon a Time in the West», in our opinion Tommy plays Clint Eastwood, instead Peter Charles Bronson. Movie jokes aside, thank you so much for welcoming us and making us travel with you. A hug R and D 🤠🤠
What a beautiful hike you guys took us on, so beautiful. And that sunset on the clouds, breathtaking. ❤ Looks like you two just can't get away from the snow. Can you. That was an unexpected sight. Cool, but you don't think about there being snow south of the equator. Hope your vacation was all you wanted it to be. Are you boys going to be home for Easter? Or spending it there. Either way have a great time, and happy Easter.
Thank you, Don. We really liked it and the sunset was like a cherry on top 😊 Always encountering snow, haha. But Tenerife is not south of the equator. We've never been south of the equator, maybe one day... Our vacation on Tenerife was only for one week - at the end of February. We've been home for quite some time now but we always return in spirit, thanks to our videos 😁 We are at the country house now. Happy Easter 😉
Oh Peter. I hate to break it to you, but this episode was quite a letdown. When you mentioned the volcano I expected you to rappel into its cone and catch a glimpse of Hades for us. 😈 The power of a volcano is incomprehensible. That caldera was huge. Maybe a super volcano was once there. The sunset was spectacular and unique. I understand why it was so moving. Thanks guys. See you next time ❤
Hi Greg, I told you that you probably wouldn't even need your pills before watching this week's video 😀 It was a nice relaxed adventure, no tunnels to see Hades or anything, no lava either 😁 We absolutely loved the sunset, such a great evening! We'll see what happens next time, be prepared 😈
Okay, gentlemen, another fun hike ! How long to get to the top ? I could see no one else up there, so where were all the people from the parking lot ? The sunset was fantastic !
Thank you 😊 It was maybe 2.5 to 3 hours to get to the top. The people from the parking lot usually only take a quick walk or hike in between the touristy area with interesting rocks, that's the main place. Only a few of them hike Mount Guajara like we did. The sunset was so amazing, a great experience 😍
Haha, you decorated the picture, funny! Don't your college's miss you at work? Ik seems that you are always on vacation! But at least we enjoy the video's, thank you for sharing!
We had fun with the picture, haha 😀 Sadly they don't miss us because we've been back to work for a month now. The vacation in Tenerife was only for one week. We film every day, so when we return home, it's time to edit all the footage and then we post the videos over coming weeks. So it seems we are there for a long time but we wouldn't be able to take so many days off. Our vacations are usually a few days or a week (Canada was the longest which was almost 3 weeks).
the heighest mountain in croatia is velebit i think , 5,764 feet in highest peak, long 57 km, 35 miles i think, you definetly should check it once, but only during day and marked paths, too many people got lost and evnetually not all of the stories will have happy endings. wolves, lynx, poskok (venomus snake) all kinds of wild animals, insane temperature differences between night and day, dehidration and so on and there is a plant called velebitska degenija, it grows only there wich makes it the only places on whole earth where you can find it, if you stomp on it or pick it, you can face a jail time if not abel to pay the fee, wich is very high,, we joked once when we camped there that we all have to sell a kidney and still would not be ough fr a fee lol .. that kinda explains ww2 and recent war, anyone who held velebit had advantage and as always it was the local people who knew every stone there and every animal... i was always fascinated by such mountains and offcourse we had to visit this one, you visited when we were there, but we did not go as far as you did, i kinda feel sad coz of it, but the next time when i will be on tenerife i will go as far as i can , even if it kills me. i love that feeling, when you are so high you can see clouds beneath you, but you are on the narrow area, like in the middel of valley and clouds are beneath you. feels calming, peacefull i always imagined how it would be to have a house on such place, you got to have morning coffe or tea, or even breakfest and you go outside when sunny and all he clouds are beneath you, and air, after you get used to ( coz at the begining i had a feeling like i have issues with breathing but it past) breathing, like body adapts coz you are so high you actually feel fresh air, no industry, no cars, no polution, just air and you can easly lose track of time, i remember when we went it was like 10 in the morning and we both thought just few hours passed, we looked the time, we were shocked, coz it was 4 in the afternoon.. it is mesmerasing, like time stops,.. i am so happy for you and that you expirenced this.. it is really uniqe expirence and feeling, i never felt anything like that before.. btw for such mountains you need mountain shoes, we call it planinske gojzerice or just gojzerice, coz every other shoes falls apart coz of terrain and lot of walking...
Sounds quite difficult going to Velebit 😀 You always need to know your limits, it's ok to try and go as far as possible but not to overestimate your powers. We often hike in sneakers and it's ok, even in Canada but mine have been through a lot so that's why they look so bad 😀

Glad that your shoes are still alive Peter! Love to you and Tommy....thank you, James xx
Thanks, James. The shoes are still alive and kicking 😀

How beautiful. Your reaction to the clouds, so lovely. 🩵💙🩶🌤🌥☁️🌞🌅😊

A great place to visit and hike
We're glad we didn't stay only on the coast and explored also this part of the island.
