Rachel totally made the right choice. I'm in my 30s as well, and single. At this point, women want a man who is self-assured and who won't play mind games. Her relationship with Peter was never solid. She and Bryan have a mature relationship. He has a career, he loves his family, and he clearly loves her. That's how it should be.
Dana Johnson - I agree, that joke was in bad taste. And maybe she grilled him on that? At the end of the day, actions speak louder than words. To be honest, I don't understand the Peter all-encompassing love. He never gave her what she needed. And she was right to choose the man who showed her love vs the man who couldn't demonstrate his feelings. Just my opinion.
I don't get why people are criticizing her choice, she made THE best choice, she went for the man who wanted her. You don't go on a show like that to get a boyfriend. Plus, who knows if Peter was ever going to propose. That's pure BS, if you really love someone, you won't take the risk of loosing them. Finally the fact that he wasn't sure about her was a sign that they weren't meant for each other.

Bravo interview by "Build Series". It was good to hear a more in-depth reflection of Rachel talking about Bryan and vice versa. You can see from this interview that they are not only in-love but there is a trust and mature bond between them. Again best post bachelorettte interview I have seen so far. Kudos also to the interviewer. She was very professional and ask quality questions.

All of them were focusing on Peter, yet it should have been about the newly engaged couple. Yes the break up with Peter was intense so they were interested in asking about it, but the interviews should have been balanced by talking about Rachel and Brian as well.

If you rewatch the episodes with Peter, you’ll note that overwhelming Rachel instigated any real intimacy. Peters’ kisses were surface nothing even close to the depth and control that Bryan showed. I liked that Bryan liked to control the kiss, thus his hands on her face. Loved that. Peter was doing peeking kisses. One of his hand was in his coat pocket during s very fireworks emotionally, romance filled scene. I’m not sure he was sincere.
Ladies get real Peter was playing head games with Rachel and he's played those same games before with other ladies he admitted that on a date with Rachel where he left another woman crying tears running down her face. Peter knew before going on this season of the Bachelorette what the men were there for. He never had any intention of proposing to her and I thank God Rachel chose Bryan who was very sure about what he wanted not whining and didn't know his own mind. Peter was the player, so glad Rachel realized it. Team Rachel and Bryan all the way.

So the ex sent their text messages to Reality Steve before he went to film Rachel season. He immediately went back to her and they were watching the airing of the show together. He was believable when he told the story. Bryan got a backlash for fake Peter
It really sucks that there was so much focus on Peter and the editing out of Bryan and Rachels love journey. I knew there was depth to their relationship based on Rachels intelligence and the connection I saw with them together. I only wished that it was shown, but I guess they left a lot out to keep the audience guessing who will get the final rose.The unfortunate thing is, the editing out set Bryan up for backlash from viewers.
Editing is always the issue with reality shows. Everyone on them says so. There is always something left out that would bring more clarity to a situation but for ratings sake its left out.

I don't know who this interviewer is however she is EXCELLENT. The questions were good and meaty which gave the couple an opportunity to provide some non-superficial answers. I finished watching this interview and felt I came away knowing them better as individuals AND as a couple. This was my first season watching The Bachelorette and I was hooked on this particular segment. CONGRATULATIONS, Bryan and Rachel. Rachel: YOU made the WISE choice.
Watching them on this makes so much sense!! They really are a great pair and seem so happy! We did all love Peter, but Brian was always a good consistent guy who knew what he wanted. In the end, it's what makes her happy not what the fans wanted and this clearly has made her happy!!
This is one of the best interviews I have seen. Here is one person who, whether or not she had a preference, allowed viewers to get an unbiased view of the couple. If she has commentary on them anywhere, I'd like to read it. I suspect it will be more accurate than much of what exists.

Being honest with yourself and knowing what you desire is key in any relationship. Being able to communicate that with grace is a gift. So glad Rachel chose someone with the ability to do that and someone with the self-control and confidence to stay focused on developing a relationship with her and not get caught up in drama. A good husband needs those skills! Bonus that his affection is consistent and seems to come from an emotionally mature place. Rachel made a healthy choice.
Bryan! I'm a smitten kitten. He's such a beautiful person. See how he's with her? How he treats her? What a catch?! I was smitten by him but ever since the finale, I'm in love with him. And because Rachel chose the perfect guy and also the perfect guy for her, I've got nothing but respect. I wish them all the happiness. He's such a catch and she's such a catch, hope they both appreciate that more everyday. Peter is so rude! Why did he come to the show? Did the same thing he did to the last guy. I was just happy that Rachel wasn't going to chose. I caught on that when he told her that they (Peter and Rachel) will regret the break up. She told him no. Then when he told her whether she'd chose him in the end and told him she can't tell him...if she was as desperate as some folks claim, she would have told him. That's when I knew she just wanted to fix the last Peter she dated.
I liked Bryan before but now I REALLY like him! He seems very mature, and down to earth. I can see that he truly loves her. I think that people judged him unfairly. I'm pleasantly surprised by his positive attitude after all the hate that he's been receiving. May God bless their love.❤
most women who desire LOVE ...... can appreciate how Bryan looks at Rachel.....holds her....hugs her.....smiles at her....talks about her and of course kisses her so affectionately... Yetunde Mojeed - What do you mean Bryan will make it work? I thought relationships were a two way street? Even if it's true he loved her; which I doubt, it doesn't mean that she loved him. People often hear what they want to hear but if you were paying attention you'd know that Bryan was not the man Rachel loved & hoped to be with. Her body language told the whole story. She behaved very differently around Peter than she did around Bryan. She even thought of Peter when she was with Bryan but when she was with Peter she forgot about everyone else. If that wasn't enough her feelings were obvious in her words too. Rachel said on the finale, 'do I take a chance with the man who's in love & wants what I want or the one I feel strongly for but who isn't ready to propose at this time?' If she loved Bryan it would be a no-brainer; she wouldn't be talking about 'taking a chance'. Likewise, if she wasn't in love with Peter, why would she even consider taking a chance on someone she knew wasn't ready to propose to her? As she had done throughout the process, she followed her heart & that led her to the man she loved, Peter. Otherwise, why have a three hour argument, sob-fest & make-out session with him over the logistics of their relationship? As she told him, her fear was that he may not be as committed as she was. Did you ever hear her tell him she she had stronger feelings for someone else or that she was at a crossroad & struggling to figure out which way to go? Nope! But that is what she told Bryan. Again, why would it be a struggle if she wasn't in love with Peter? She knew Bryan would propose; without a doubt. If she loved Bryan so much, she would have just enjoyed her last date with Peter then happily moved on to an engagement with Bryan. Okay, so she says goodbyes are hard but did she have a hard time saying goodbye to Bryan after their last date? Uh, no! You could say she wasn't sad because she was going to choose him. If that were the case, why tell him she's at a crossroad & create doubt in his mind? Why not just enjoy the evening? Actually, what Rachel told Bryan that night sounded like she was preparing him for a big letdown the next day because, at the time, that was her intention. At the proposal she looked less than enthused & again her words & actions gave her away. As usual she was thinking about Peter & wondering if she was doing the right thing. She looked miserable until he dropped to his knee & she saw the ring. She was more excited about that ring than she ever was about Bryan. Okay, so you may be thinking, that was then, this is now. As you said, she made her choice so surely she's in love with Bryan now. They've had all that time together & she's saying she's happy, so she must be, right? Again, no! If she had since fallen in love with Bryan why would she still be as frustrated & upset with Peter all these months later? Why would she care now that he wouldn't propose then? Why would watching their breakup still be so painful for her? Why would Peter saying he wouldn't have done anything differently that night bother her? She even said it, there's no denying she loved Peter... but what matters most is what she didn't say about loving Bryan. When Chris H asked her when she knew it was Bryan she said 'some would say it was when I had to defend him to my family'. Hmm, that's an interesting deflection! Some would say? I thought he was asking you, Rachel? That was her lawyer speak. You can lie without really lying. She goes on to say how she thought Bryan was her best friend. Uh okay, really? I didn't know you were looking for a best friend. It's great to be in love with your best friend but she never used the word love with regard to Bryan or in deciding she would be with him. When she said it, Bryan's face looked like he knew it was a sham. They're both faking it. If the feelings of love weren't still there for Peter or if she had found love for Bryan, it wouldn't have been so hard for her to see Peter again. When Chris asked her if she was ready to see & talk to Peter, she said no but I have no choice. That's because she was scared. She wasn't sure she could hold it together & not get emotional. In fact, when he sat down they were kind of close but she scooted away because she could still feel the energy between them & because she wore that low cut dress for him & wanted to make sure he got an eye full. Also she got a little teary a few times as she sat there listening to him say he still cared deeply for her. She gazed at him with love & regret in her eyes. And, what was up with her touching his leg? How was that necessary? Clearly, she's still very much in love with him & who can blame her?!

Her throwing shades is annoying. Similar stuff happens during Desiree season but she was honest with her husband now chris before they got engaged. This is the best post- season interview that I have seen. This interviewer was definitely well acquainted with the issues, and viewed them realistically, not through a fanatical haze. How could anyone with even half a brain fault any lady for opting to be someone's queen, rather than another's friend with "benefits." When the lady in question is a well educated, intelligent, classy, sassy attorney, not even an alcoholic haze would cause her to choose a person who was, according to his mother, ready for children and a family, but not for a wife. The truth is that had Rachel been allowed free rein, she would not have discovered that because that hometown visit would not have occurred. Some people seem to have commented without understanding or knowing all that was aired. The franchise's desire for drama and suspense skewed reality, but even then, there was enough evidence that things were not what they seemed to be. 1. Look at the ring purchase scene. Bryan is wearing exactly what he wore to meet Rachel's folk. The room he enters is not the room Bryan occupied in Rioja. 2. Rachel said in response to Chris Harrison's query, that she knew her choice when she told her family that Bryan is her best friend. 3. Only Bryan met Rachel's friends who had induced her to be.on the show. 4.Bryan never received a date card. Rachel herself informed him of his one-on-one dates. Both times she did it, the others commented thar her relationship with Bryan was outstanding. 5. Except for the third rose ceremony, Bryan received the first rose if he did not already have one. He received the group date rose on the largest group date. Added to those facts are these: 1. The franchise orchestrated the first date with Peter. 2. After the initial meetings Rachel commented that Peter was handsome. After Bryan she said, "I like trouble." 3. Both of Bryan's one-on-one dates are usually front runner dates. All the afore-mentioned clues were plainly aired during the season. When you add information gleaned after the ATFR aired, any rational person realizes that the franchise's goal was not to highlight the growth of a genuine love relationship, and crafted a show accordingly. Rachel and Bryan recognized each other as soul mates, and did what they had to do to give Mike Fleiss et al the drama and suspense they sought. The love of Rachel and Bryan for each other did conquer and continues to soar over the machinations of producers, schemers, and dishonest suitors.

Aw I love them together! I really was such a Peter or Eric fan but they genuinely seem so happy together and Bryan may be cheesy but she likes that and I'll always be #TeamRachel
They do not show everything that happens on the show Rachele said. They just show us the edits and cut a lot of parts just to catch our attention. If you go back and watch how Rachel and Bryan were so in love from the beginning you will understand. They may have decided on the show to keep Peter for the rating. It would have been too easy to know who Rachel would have picked if Peter was sent home earlier. Her relationship with Peter was a kind of akward. The way Peter was kissing Rachel was so awkward. It was as if he was kissing a girl friend and not a girlfriend. Almost as if they are sharing just a friendship kiss. It was not passionate at all like the kisses Bryan and Rachel were sharing. I believe that Peter was not in love with Rachel. He probably liked her but he definitively was not in love with her. He doesn't need to hide behind this I am not ready for proposal thing because he doesn't seem like a guy who wants to be married. He like being single and have a girlfriend and kids. His mom even said that in one of the episodes. Rachel was a little sceptical of Bryan at first and that undertstantible because he is so handsome and such a good catch that it felt like it was too good to be true. She said it several times. But unlike Peter, Bryan was not afraid to propose. I mean if you like it put a ring on it. Show me that you want to keep me. Being engaged or having a fiancé is like being in a serious relationship with commitment. I totally understand Rachel and what she meant by saying she wants a proposal. She didn't mean let's rush into marriage tomorrow but want someone who cares enough to secure their relationship. For some people being engaged may not be a big deal but for others it is. I totally understand Rachel. Just like for some people kissing is not a big deal for others it is. Bryan and Rachel kisses were very passionate and that show the love they have for each others. Peter couldn't do that because he was not in love with her. She gave him (Peter) a chance to prove to her he loved her but he couldn't. I admired him for that. At least for not giving her false hopes and wasting her tome. But he don't have to be rude by saying she was going have a mediocre life because she was strong enough not to follow him in that endless boyfriend-girlfriend relationship he was offering her. You know, at first I wasn't the biggest fan of Bryan, but having an analytical lawyer mind myself I believe Rachel when she says that she really grilled him. Sometimes people are not what they seem initially, and there probably was some truth to ABC grooming Peter to become the next Bachelor. We'll see what the future holds but right now they both seem set on each other so I wish them well.
Peter just wants to be the next bachelor, and if he is I guarantee he will propose. He just needed an out on Rachel's season by sending in the biggest red flag "not being ready to propose". If he is in fact the next bachelor they'll probably make the ending really dramatic. Allude to Rachel's season and how he was so unsure and continue that story line until he ends up proposing.
Peter crazies are so delusional. They couldn't see the forest for the trees. Every season the producers zoom in on 1 contestant to edit into the fan favorite/upcoming lead position. Anyone with 2 eyes & a brain willing to look past Peter's good looks saw that's what they were doing. They did it with Rachel on Nick's season (wasn't that hard to like her since she was way too good for nick) and they did it with jojo(again it wasn't too hard to like her either since she was probably the most broken hearted runner up in history). Peter came here for exposure and got it. And started to make it too far & began searching for a way out. Anyone so "logical" wouldn't come to find love on a reality tv show where the end game for almost 20 years has been a proposal. Shoutout to Bryan. He came for her and got her. Never wavered. I feel bad they gave him such piss poor editing. Congrats Rachel and Bryan! I wish yall the best.
I am saying this as a person who never watched this show ever. I have only watched interviews of Rachel, But it would seem odd that you would apply to be on a show you knew the end game is a proposal. Peter had to have ulterior motives.
Bryan didn't come for rachel LOL. He had no idea who the bachelorette would be. You are just as delusional if you don't think they aLL ago on the show to promote themselves. Peter didn't expect to fall for rachel and he did. He wanted to think of how they could make it in real life, since MOST of these proposals do NOT work out. Here's the thing, people are so upset with her for choosing Bryan, but refuse to understand that this process was about her not about them. I am saying all of this as a person who started off so TEAM Peter that no one could tell me anything. It is her right as a human to want to believe loved back the way she feels she deserves and for what ever reason she felt that Peter wouldn't be ab;e to give her that. What everyone should also remember is that THE EDIT is a powerful thing, because I felt the things the majority of people were feeling about Bryan, but after watching interviews he just appears much more likeable. In this situation I also think about an interview Trista (the first bachelorette, who is still married with children to the man she chose) did. She was asked why she chose the person she chose and her answer was simply "I KNEW he loved ME".
I feel like Rachel thinks she has to justify herself for her decision and if so that's not fair to her. I was team Peter but I'm not going to bash her for her decision.
Peter is dramatically terrible guy! I was so frustrated by his conversation with Rachel last night! He couldn't say a right word and a direct answer towards the host and Rachel. He was afraid of facing the fact that he's fake who is hiding something. When she asked my that if he loved her, he said that he had a feeling with her. Seriously, Wth!!! It's ridiculous! I was genuinely excited about Rachel and Peter reunion, but he was disappointing me so bad. If he wasn't able to love her that much to give her a ring, he would have left in the middle of the show or some to give other people chance to be with her. He looked so pathetic last night.

He wanted to punish the "confident ballsy Miami swagger doctor He tells Rachel, We will have a good life together, I dont want to lose you, I cant lose you, I am not ready to lose, I am not ready to propose, I am not there yet, because a proposal and engagement to me is like a marriage and I only want to do it once. I will do it for you if that is what you want" this is not love, . It is mind, emotional, and psychological Manipulation at it's worse. Eventually it will turn into, "You made me do it, I did not want to do it . When Rachei turned down his proposal, he told her to " go live your mediocre life, If you change your mind, you know where to find me." that was from the man who was professing all that love for her.. It is an insult, it is demeaning, desrespectful and not complimentary. He would have never married her had she settled for his step down alternative. His crocrodile tears did not impress me , he was the one who insulted Rachel and was playing the victim. He played a game and lost, God intersepted, I saw the same tears with Nick on Andy session When Bryan's mother stated, this morning I went to mass, and I ask God that if you are the one and Bryan is happy, I am happy. I know the Lord had been brought into their relationship. Rachel is also from a religious background. they will make it in God's name, Peter needs to have his thinking process in order to be the bachelor. They will not sign him up if he is no doing to comply with their process
Tien Lu please go to Reality Steve in Twitter and look at Peter’s text messages to his girlfriend before going to Rachel season. He was never attracted to Rachel, he said it’s one and only opportunity for him to boost his business and he will use his looks etc. I was disgusted. Thank God Rachel saw through that even though she had strong feelings for him. She quickly realized that it was gonna be a toxic relationship.

This is the best interview I've seen of these two, and yes I have been watching them all! You really see the chemistry between them that honestly anyone should be able to see. We saw a lot of manipulation of our own thoughts and feelings from the producers. I could almost see the lines of editing that made certain people look better than others, and I don't even work in tv production, yet. Still this is like Luke from the other season, who everyone loved and wanted to be The Bachelor over Nick. Something is just not right there with Peter. I don't think he is a bad person but I don't think he truly knows how to pursue a woman that he loves. Pursuit should be from the beginning till the end, not when you are about to lose them. I'm shipping these two across the sea and back again. In retrospect we should have known she was a goner when she told Ellen that their first kiss swept her off her feet...
honestly i liked Peter and didn't like how Bryan was little aggressive towards her family meet.. but then again to sum it up Bryan is one of great guy and Rachael has always liked him despite his flaws! wish them best!

At first I was upset that she didn't pick Peter, but now it's beginning to be clear to me that she knew what she was doing. And all season long she was giving us a LOT of clues that Bryan was the one. I do believe that Peter was in love with Rachel but he couldn't accept that Bryan was his main competitor - and thus his hubris prevented him from doing the most to keep Rachel. However, it is clear now that the producers edited the show to make Peter the sweetheart and Bryan the sleazebag.

Rachel totally made the right choice. I'm in my 30s as well, and single. At this point, women want a man who is self-assured and who won't play mind games. To be honest, I don't understand the Peter all-encompassing love. He never gave her what she needed. If you rewatch the episodes with Peter, you’ll note that overwhelming Rachel instigated any real intimacy. Peters’ kisses were surface nothing even close to the depth and control that Bryan showed. I liked that Bryan liked to control the kiss, thus his hands on her face. Loved that. Peter was doing peeking kisses. One of his hand was in his coat pocket during s very fireworks emotionally, romance filled scene. I’m not sure he was sincere.
Ladies get real Peter was playing head games with Rachel and he's played those same games before with other ladies he admitted that on a date with Rachel where he left another woman crying tears running down her face. Peter knew before going on this season of the Bachelorette what the men were there for. He never had any intention of proposing to her and I thank God Rachel chose Bryan who was very sure about what he wanted not whining and didn't know his own mind. I don't know who this interviewer is however she is EXCELLENT. The questions were good and meaty which gave the couple an opportunity to provide some non-superficial answers. I finished watching this interview and felt I came away knowing them better as individuals AND as a couple. This was my first season watching The Bachelorette and I was hooked on this particular segment. CONGRATULATIONS, Bryan and Rachel. Rachel: YOU made the WISE choice.
Watching them on this makes so much sense!! They really are a great pair and seem so happy! We did all love Peter, but Brian was always a good consistent guy who knew what he wanted. In the end, it's what makes her happy not what the fans wanted and this clearly has made her happy!!

Being able to communicate that with grace is a gift. So glad Rachel chose someone with the ability to do that and someone with the self-control and confidence to stay focused on developing a relationship with her and not get caught up in drama. A good husband needs those skills! Bonus that his affection is consistent and seems to come from an emotionally mature place. Rachel made a healthy choice.

Peter is so rude! Why did he come to the show? Did the same thing he did to the last guy. I was just happy that Rachel wasn't going to chose. I caught on that when he told her that they (Peter and Rachel) will regret the break up. She told him no. Then when he told her whether she'd chose him in the end and told him she can't tell him...if she was as desperate as some folks claim, she would have told him. That's when I knew she just wanted to fix the last Peter she dated.
I liked Bryan before but now I REALLY like him! He seems very mature, and down to earth. I can see that he truly loves her. I think that people judged him unfairly. I'm pleasantly surprised by his positive attitude after all the hate that he's been receiving. May God bless their love.❤

Yetunde Mojeed - What do you mean Bryan will make it work? I thought relationships were a two way street? Even if it's true he loved her; which I doubt, it doesn't mean that she loved him. People often hear what they want to hear but if you were paying attention you'd know that Bryan was not the man Rachel loved & hoped to be with. Her body language told the whole story. She behaved very differently around Peter than she did around Bryan. She even thought of Peter when she was with Bryan but when she was with Peter she forgot about everyone else. If that wasn't enough her feelings were obvious in her words too.
Rachel said on the finale, 'do I take a chance with the man who's in love & wants what I want or the one I feel strongly for but who isn't ready to propose at this time?' If she loved Bryan it would be a no-brainer; she wouldn't be talking about 'taking a chance'. Likewise, if she wasn't in love with Peter, why would she even consider taking a chance on someone she knew wasn't ready to propose to her?
As she had done throughout the process, she followed her heart & that led her to the man she loved, Peter. Otherwise, why have a three hour argument, sob-fest & make-out session with him over the logistics of their relationship? As she told him, her fear was that he may not be as committed as she was. Did you ever hear her tell him she she had stronger feelings for someone else or that she was at a crossroad & struggling to figure out which way to go? Nope! But that is what she told Bryan. Again, why would it be a struggle if she wasn't in love with Peter? She knew Bryan would propose; without a doubt.
If she loved Bryan so much, she would have just enjoyed her last date with Peter then happily moved on to an engagement with Bryan. Okay, so she says goodbyes are hard but did she have a hard time saying goodbye to Bryan after their last date? Uh, no! You could say she wasn't sad because she was going to choose him. If that were the case, why tell him she's at a crossroad & create doubt in his mind? Why not just enjoy the evening?
Actually, what Rachel told Bryan that night sounded like she was preparing him for a big letdown the next day because, at the time, that was her intention. At the proposal she looked less than enthused & again her words & actions gave her away. As usual she was thinking about Peter & wondering if she was doing the right thing. She looked miserable until he dropped to his knee & she saw the ring. She was more excited about that ring than she ever was about Bryan.
Okay, so you may be thinking, that was then, this is now. As you said, she made her choice so surely she's in love with Bryan now. They've had all that time together & she's saying she's happy, so she must be, right? Again, no! If she had since fallen in love with Bryan why would she still be as frustrated & upset with Peter all these months later?
Why would she care now that he wouldn't propose then? Why would watching their breakup still be so painful for her? Why would Peter saying he wouldn't have done anything differently that night bother her? She even said it, there's no denying she loved Peter... but what matters most is what she didn't say about loving Bryan.
When Chris H asked her when she knew it was Bryan she said 'some would say it was when I had to defend him to my family'. Hmm, that's an interesting deflection! Some would say? I thought he was asking you, Rachel? That was her lawyer speak. You can lie without really lying. She goes on to say how she thought Bryan was her best friend. Uh okay, really? I didn't know you were looking for a best friend. It's great to be in love with your best friend but she never used the word love with regard to Bryan or in deciding she would be with him. When she said it, Bryan's face looked like he knew it was a sham. They're both faking it.
If the feelings of love weren't still there for Peter or if she had found love for Bryan, it wouldn't have been so hard for her to see Peter again. When Chris asked her if she was ready to see & talk to Peter, she said no but I have no choice. That's because she was scared. She wasn't sure she could hold it together & not get emotional.
In fact, when he sat down they were kind of close but she scooted away because she could still feel the energy between them & because she wore that low cut dress for him & wanted to make sure he got an eye full. Also she got a little teary a few times as she sat there listening to him say he still cared deeply for her. She gazed at him with love & regret in her eyes. And, what was up with her touching his leg? How was that necessary? Clearly, she's still very much in love with him & who can blame her?!
MJ De preach it sister, Rachel is a manipulator because she's now with Bryan and she is trying to change the narrative of the show. Bryan is not stupid and time will tell. Her throwing shades is annoying. Similar stuff happens during Desiree season but she was honest with her husband now chris before they got engaged. Rachel is working so hard to change things around but everyone is buying it.

Best interview so far. I like that the focus was on them, and we didn't only hear them answer the same questions everyone else was asking.
This is the best post- season interview that I have seen. This interviewer was definitely well acquainted with the issues, and viewed them realistically, not through a fanatical haze.
How could anyone with even half a brain fault any lady for opting to be someone's queen, rather than another's friend with "benefits." When the lady in question is a well educated, intelligent, classy, sassy attorney, not even an alcoholic haze would cause her to choose a person who was, according to his mother, ready for children and a family, but not for a wife. The truth is that had Rachel been allowed free rein, she would not have discovered that because that hometown visit would not have occurred.
Some people seem to have commented without understanding or knowing all that was aired. The franchise's desire for drama and suspense skewed reality, but even then, there was enough evidence that things were not what they seemed to be.
1. Look at the ring purchase scene. Bryan is wearing exactly what he wore to meet Rachel's folk. The room he enters is not the room Bryan occupied in Rioja. 2. Rachel said in response to Chris Harrison's query, that she knew her choice when she told her family that Bryan is her best friend. 3. Only Bryan met Rachel's friends who had induced her to be.on the show. 4.Bryan never received a date card. Rachel herself informed him of his one-on-one dates. Both times she did it, the others commented thar her relationship with Bryan was outstanding. 5. Except for the third rose ceremony, Bryan received the first rose if he did not already have one. He received the group date rose on the largest group date.
Added to those facts are these: 1. The franchise orchestrated the first date with Peter. 2. After the initial meetings Rachel commented that Peter was handsome. After Bryan she said, "I like trouble." 3. Both of Bryan's one-on-one dates are usually front runner dates.
All the afore-mentioned clues were plainly aired during the season. When you add information gleaned after the ATFR aired, any rational person realizes that the franchise's goal was not to highlight the growth of a genuine love relationship, and crafted a show accordingly. Rachel and Bryan recognized each other as soul mates, and did what they had to do to give Mike Fleiss et al the drama and suspense they sought. The love of Rachel and Bryan for each other did conquer and continues to soar over the machinations of producers, schemers, and dishonest suitors.

This is a good match. They are both articulate and have great personalities.
They do not show everything that happens on the show Rachele said. They just show us the edits and cut a lot of parts just to catch our attention. If you go back and watch how Rachel and Bryan were so in love from the beginning you will understand. They may have decided on the show to keep Peter for the rating. It would have been too easy to know who Rachel would have picked if Peter was sent home earlier. Her relationship with Peter was a kind of akward. The way Peter was kissing Rachel was so awkward. It was as if he was kissing a girl friend and not a girlfriend. Almost as if they are sharing just a friendship kiss. It was not passionate at all like the kisses Bryan and Rachel were sharing. I believe that Peter was not in love with Rachel. He probably liked her but he definitively was not in love with her. He doesn't need to hide behind this I am not ready for proposal thing because he doesn't seem like a guy who wants to be married. He like being single and have a girlfriend and kids. His mom even said that in one of the episodes.
Rachel was a little sceptical of Bryan at first and that undertstantible because he is so handsome and such a good catch that it felt like it was too good to be true. She said it several times. But unlike Peter, Bryan was not afraid to propose. I mean if you like it put a ring on it. Show me that you want to keep me. Being engaged or having a fiancé is like being in a serious relationship with commitment. I totally understand Rachel and what she meant by saying she wants a proposal. She didn't mean let's rush into marriage tomorrow but want someone who cares enough to secure their relationship. For some people being engaged may not be a big deal but for others it is. I totally understand Rachel. Just like for some people kissing is not a big deal for others it is. Bryan and Rachel kisses were very passionate and that show the love they have for each others. Peter couldn't do that because he was not in love with her. She gave him (Peter) a chance to prove to her he loved her but he couldn't. I admired him for that. At least for not giving her false hopes and wasting her tome. But he don't have to be rude by saying she was going have a mediocre life because she was strong enough not to follow him in that endless boyfriend-girlfriend relationship he was offering her. Come on Peter. I will be mad myself. So I see why Rachel is a little cold with him. Not because he didn't propose but because it trying to manipulate the situation. Or not wanting Bryan to have a chance with her.
I wish Bryan and Rachel a HAPPY and BLESSED couple life. To Bryan please do not let all those negative comments change your love for Rachel. She picked you for a reason and you have always been her FIRST pick!!! GOD BLESS YOU both 😘😘😘.

You know, at first I wasn't the biggest fan of Bryan, but having an analytical lawyer mind myself I believe Rachel when she says that she really grilled him. Sometimes people are not what they seem initially, and there probably was some truth to ABC grooming Peter to become the next Bachelor. We'll see what the future holds but right now they both seem set on each other so I wish them well.
Peter just wants to be the next bachelor, and if he is I guarantee he will propose. He just needed an out on Rachel's season by sending in the biggest red flag "not being ready to propose". If he is in fact the next bachelor they'll probably make the ending really dramatic. Allude to Rachel's season and how he was so unsure and continue that story line until he ends up proposing.
Peter crazies are so delusional. They couldn't see the forest for the trees. Every season the producers zoom in on 1 contestant to edit into the fan favorite/upcoming lead position. Anyone with 2 eyes & a brain willing to look past Peter's good looks saw that's what they were doing. They did it with Rachel on Nick's season (wasn't that hard to like her since she was way too good for nick) and they did it with jojo(again it wasn't too hard to like her either since she was probably the most broken hearted runner up in history). Peter came here for exposure and got it. And started to make it too far & began searching for a way out. Anyone so "logical" wouldn't come to find love on a reality tv show where the end game for almost 20 years has been a proposal. Shoutout to Bryan. He came for her and got her. Never wavered. I feel bad they gave him such piss poor editing. Congrats Rachel and Bryan! I wish yall the best.
I am saying this as a person who never watched this show ever. I have only watched interviews of Rachel, But it would seem odd that you would apply to be on a show you knew the end game is a proposal. Peter had to have ulterior motives.
Bryan didn't come for rachel LOL. He had no idea who the bachelorette would be. You are just as delusional if you don't think they aLL ago on the show to promote themselves. Peter didn't expect to fall for rachel and he did. He wanted to think of how they could make it in real life, since MOST of these proposals do NOT work out. They propose just for the hell if it for the show.
Actually they do know who is bachelorette. Eric mentioned running into Rachel at the gym in LA where he trained after he was cast. So, they know.

But someone who knew the point of the show & then came on & tried to act holier than thou "I take proposals seriously" was sketchy. So does every other normal person. Here's the thing, people are so upset with her for choosing Bryan, but refuse to understand that this process was about her not about them. I am saying all of this as a person who started off so TEAM Peter that no one could tell me anything. It is her right as a human to want to believe loved back the way she feels she deserves and for what ever reason she felt that Peter wouldn't be ab;e to give her that. What everyone should also remember is that THE EDIT is a powerful thing, because I felt the things the majority of people were feeling about Bryan, but after watching interviews he just appears much more likeable. In this situation I also think about an interview Trista (the first bachelorette, who is still married with children to the man she chose) did. She was asked why she chose the person she chose and her answer was simply "I KNEW he loved ME".

Peter is dramatically terrible guy! I was so frustrated by his conversation with Rachel last night! He couldn't say a right word and a direct answer towards the host and Rachel. He was afraid of facing the fact that he's fake who is hiding something. When she asked my that if he loved her, he said that he had a feeling with her. Seriously, Wth!!! It's ridiculous! I was genuinely excited about Rachel and Peter reunion, but he was disappointing me so bad. If he wasn't able to love her that much to give her a ring, he would have left in the middle of the show or some to give other people chance to be with her. He looked so pathetic last night.
Tien, Bryan was Peter's achilles heel, he was obcessed with Bryan, and his intention was to sabatage Rachel and Bryan's relation to punish Bryan, He was not going to propose, but he despise the man who wanted to do what was expected of them. I will do it for you if that is what you want" this is not love, . It is mind, emotional, and psychological Manipulation at it's worse. Eventually it will turn into, "You made me do it, I did not want to do it

When Bryan's mother stated, this morning I went to mass, and I ask God that if you are the one and Bryan is happy, I am happy. I know the Lord had been brought into their relationship. Rachel is also from a religious background. they will make it in God's name, Peter needs to have his thinking process in order to be the bachelor. They will not sign him up if he is no doing to comply with their process
Tien Lu please go to Reality Steve in Twitter and look at Peter’s text messages to his girlfriend before going to Rachel season. He was never attracted to Rachel, he said it’s one and only opportunity for him to boost his business and he will use his looks etc. I was disgusted. Thank God Rachel saw through that even though she had strong feelings for him. She quickly realized that it was gonna be a toxic relationship.

This is the best interview I've seen of these two, and yes I have been watching them all!
You really see the chemistry between them that honestly anyone should be able to see.
We saw a lot of manipulation of our own thoughts and feelings from the producers. I could almost see the lines of editing that made certain people look better than others, and I don't even work in tv production, yet. Still this is like Luke from the other season, who everyone loved and wanted to be The Bachelor over Nick. Something is just not right there with Peter. I don't think he is a bad person but I don't think he truly knows how to pursue a woman that he loves. Pursuit should be from the beginning till the end, not when you are about to lose them.
I'm shipping these two across the sea and back again. In retrospect we should have known she was a goner when she told Ellen that their first kiss swept her off her feet...
honestly i liked Peter and didn't like how Bryan was little aggressive towards her family meet.. but then again to sum it up Bryan is one of great guy and Rachael has always liked him despite his flaws! wish them best!

At first I was upset that she didn't pick Peter, but now it's beginning to be clear to me that she knew what she was doing. And all season long she was giving us a LOT of clues that Bryan was the one. I do believe that Peter was in love with Rachel but he couldn't accept that Bryan was his main competitor - and thus his hubris prevented him from doing the most to keep Rachel. However, it is clear now that the producers edited the show to make Peter the sweetheart and Bryan the sleazebag.
