Hi. Love the videos you produce especially the diamond crossing you did the other day. Also the techniques used remind me of the 1968 movie Whistle and I'll come to you ( RUclips). An M R James ghost story. Saw the Aberdeen video on 5th May. I can recommend Train_Plane Hub. Recording of the Caledonian Sleeper from London to Aberdeen/Inverness/Fort William plus the Return journeys. Stay Safe and thanks.
Good for you, Dave, 173K subscribers...and a rainy day in PA...great views of the Amtrak...and a grand entrance of the NS mixed manifest train, behind the passenger train...super views of the two NS freight trains, as they pass each other...Cheers!
grazie di cuore per il bellissimo video e per i transiti in incrocio stupendi complimenti di cuore per il bellissimo video dalla sicilia un caro saluto vostro amico giuseppe
Hello from Lebanon. I loved this video. Rainy, dirty, noisy, rusty....gritty American railroading at its brute force best. Great stuff from last fall. Sad at the end to see the great old PRR signal waiting for the junk pile. A victim of PTC possibly. I still enjoy seeing them on the Amtrak-owned Keystone Corridor east of Harrisburg, near my home. Thanks for a great video. Stay well. CAS.
Lots of action here. It must be nice to live near tracks that are still so active. This is former 4-track main territory of the PRR still seeing a gooo amount of action. When Conrail came about mostly Penn Central tracks survived. Now it's NS.
That 4-axle locomotive looked like a GP40, but GP50s also look like that. That rail depot looks as though maybe it once had a couple of tracks that came closer to the building than where Amtrak stopped.
Just kinda have to go there and wait. Or see the train somewhere else and chase it there. Or know someone who sees it somewhere and tells you it's coming.
I have seen 5287 run in front of my house (tracks about 30') from my front door i have video of that 2017,also high hood 5230,i believe conrail still owns the track, occasionally csx locomotives but mostly NS

The center-beam load@ 13:58 was unusual; looked like crates of something , thanks for sharing!

*_Like 178. Awesome video! With best wishes :-)_*
Great Video!👌
Rain beats snow at least. Amtrak and NS meet - nice! Lewistown looks like a decent RR station - scenic to say the least.
Seeing how far back the platform is, I wonder how many tracks used to be here.
Great video. Love that place.
Another cool video from you!
When I took the Pennsylvania to Penn State, I got off at Lewistown and we all switched to the Fullington Bus up to State College.
Awesome catches

Happy Sunday!
How do you find out when a freight train is gonna cross an intersection on a certain track
Just kinda have to go there and wait. Or see the train somewhere else and chase it there. Or know someone who sees it somewhere and tells you it's coming.
Happy Mother's Day everybody
I like the station!
Cool Video.
Regards.
Lots of AC to DC power 👍
