Full Route Visual~X76: Colchester, Head Street - Clacton, Pier Avenue | 640 | LX56 EUC

Todays video is an FRV on the route X76 from Colchester to Clacton. I’ve wanted to visit Colchester and the surrounding areas for quite a while now, and then settled down to doing the Hedingham routes of 74 or X76. I was going to do 74 but since that arrived late and I was going to be late for Chambers stuff afterwards, I decided to do X76 around the same time. The route was very nice and quite quick via the flatlands and hills of Essex, although I wish it was sunny lol. This visual was recorded on 640, which used to carry the fleet number of E55 with GAL. (This is the only ex London E400 Trident in the Hedingham/Chambers fleet) I wouldve wanted to record a journey of this but since my battery was low and I needed to quickly get back to Colchester, I hopped on the 74 back (on an ex GAL B9TL). Another video from the day will come out later. I do heavily recommend the route, although like lots of Non TFL routes ive rode it doesnt really have a set allocation. It can use B7TL’s, B9TL’s, 1st and 2nd gen E400’s, Pointers and E200’s.

Great X76 E400 Essex Visual 🎶 🎵 JT!Not going to lie this one of the best buses in Essex with such a great routing.Theres a great bus that goes from Stansted all the way to South end on the sea X30 which I heard is pretty good.

Just to let you know X30 Stansted to Southend via Chelmsford is on the Government £2 each way scheme so I travelled on it Monday for £2 each way lol
