I am sharing what I am getting my bridesmaid's for their proposal bags, I create my own bouquet with DIY wedding flowers, and I do a wedding decor thrift haul. Wedding photographer here: can I recommend you asking a friend or a few friends to be on candle duty with the tealights because they run out after a few hours!
Instead of doing a welcome sign, just have y’all’s names on it and then maybe the date of the wedding so that you can keep it and hang it in your house or something afterwards 😊💕

Giirl, I highly recommend you to try the diva cup instead of tampons, it is sooo much more practical and environmentally friendly ;)
One more thing! As a bride planning my own wedding right now, I’ve found Jamie Wolfer’s RUclips channel to be indispensable. She’s a professional wedding planner and she has countless videos on specific topics - including one on the sings you need for your wedding. She’s super organized, funny, and a fellow Christian (figured that might be a pro for you, though I’m personally indifferent).
Kian, use the floral tape for the bouquet and then just get a nice ribbon and wrap it around and pin with a single pin. Then it will look pretty and be secure!
Also, we had my friend make us a nice big welcome sign and it is now a great decor piece in our house!

Just got married. Skip the signs!! We just did a welcome sign (mostly to remind everyone to sit 6 feet apart), seating chart, and a guest book sign (so people actually looked at the table and would sign the book). No cake signs, gift signs, bar signs. No programs either! Unless you’re doing something especially unique, everyone knows there’s a ceremony -> cocktail hour -> reception.
I have hand lettered a few wedding signs and I did the basic “welcome to the wedding of ...” sign, a seating chart with each table in a window pane, and one with the date and a little “pick a seat, either side” quote. I can email them to you for some inspo if you’d like!
I love following your wedding journey because it almost mirrors mine! I'm also thrifting, made my own bouquet (artificial), and am working on invitations this weekend. And covid lockdown = I gained like 12 lbs and my dress is too snug now 🤦🏻♀️ so I'm working on getting my health routine right again!
I can't believe you live in 82 degrees! I'm in central FL and 75 is comfortable in our house. Once it gets to 79+ we are dying!
Have you ever tried using a menstrual cup? They were a game changer for me. I have used one for over three years and it’s all natural!

@@Kian_Wolfgang they're soooo good! Takes a month or two (a period or two) to get used to putting it in and taking it out, but they're SO good. I've used one for 10 years! Would never go back.
Kian Tilton just like Alison said no! You get used to it just like a tampon. If you get a chance you should definitely do a little research. 😊😊
@@Kian_Wolfgang I would totally recommend one. I will often forget I'm on my period when I am wearing one, because I can't feel it and it's so long between changes. It only hurt a little to take in and out for the first three months. Now no pain.

Etsy has really great digital templates and bundles of templates for signs
I got married in September of 2019 and tbh depending on what size of wedding you’re having, signs aren’t necessarily needed! My wedding was right at about 100 guests and the only signs we had was a welcome sign and a few signs on various tables. I had friends and family who stepped up to help with the flow of things and help explain things (we had a photo booth and book for our guests to sign) so if you have some people willing to do little things to help direct your guests- no need for signs:)

I’m actually putting together my MOH proposal box today. I’m so excited to give it to her cus it will also be how I announce to her in engaged. And girl you don’t need signs for everything. I know they seem cute but don’t stress yourself out over it if you don’t have one. Your day will be wonderful either way. And I need to hop on the thrifting journey for my wedding favors. We are gonna have a Dec wedding so I want to thrift vintage glass ornaments as favors.
I had the same issue with my tampons not absorbing. Hear me out -- try a period cup! I was super apprehensive, but watch Milena Ciciotti's video on them, it sold me! I will NEVER go back and I just bought mine a few cycles ago.
I got married in December and we had a welcome sign, scripture sign for the ceremony, seating chart, gift sign, and guest book sign! The welcome and scripture sign in our home!

I worked at a wedding place during summers so I suggest you put a mr and mrs sign at the photobooth - make it with flowers and photos of your relationship with Kyle, maybe even a sign with your own hashtag for people to use on social media. Welcome sign is not really necessary if the photo booth is close by. Seating plans look very beautiful as stickers on a decorative mirror but a beautiful poster will do the job nicely and not take so much extra work. Direction signs are fun and popular (arrows with reception, WC, wedding gifts, chill zone etc) but also not really cruical.
I use L tampons/liners and they are great! They are organic AND have a plastic applicator, and I have had no leakage issues for the past 6 months.
oh my goodness, we are also using lots of tea lights for our wedding reception in July and I suggest going to the dollar store, they sell 4 packs of electronic tea lights for a dollar, such a save especially considering you wont have to worry about fire at all!

You should try a menstrual cup, a lot better for your body and will save you a ton of money along with a ton of waste. I use a saalt cup which you can get from their website or target.
You need to stretch the floral tape in order to activate the adhesive

Got married last summer so my opinion on signage:
If you have a friend that can write pretty you can get vintage mirrors/picture frames and have your friend write on them with a paint marker! We also did some signage painted on driftwood since it was a vintage beachy vibe! Also ours was a bilingual wedding so we went a little extra on the signage and my maid of honor did all of the writing! We had a welcome sign with our names and date, a "choose a seat either side you're loved by both the groom and bride" at the enterance to the ceremony seating, a sign our guest book sign, and of course a seating chart sign if you're doing a seating chart!

For my wedding... I just used little chalkboard signs for different tables like gift tables and the welcome table etc. You don't need anything fancy unless that's something you prefer! We had a 5 month engagement and tried to keep everything pretty simple. You can do it!!

Good on you for doing your own flowers. I love working with them - can be very therapeutic. I highly, *HIGHLY* recommend you check out some floral design videos. There’s both art and simple mathematics behind creating beautiful floral arrangements simply. Flower Joos is a great channel run by a floral industry professional. His videos are pretty (relatively) quick and informative. One product you should for sure get to keep you flowers from wilting the day of is Crowning Glory. Use it on your flowers right after you finish arranging them. Also make sure they are kept cool and hydrated for as long as possible before being used.

I definitely recommend a welcome sign! The only other signs we had was for our guest book, and our hashtag. All these other signs are unnecessary in my opinion!

I got married a little over a year ago. We didn't have a wedding sign. Id say a gift sign is a great idea because we didn't have one either and people didn't know where to put gifts 😂

You should check out Jamie Wolfer on RUclips for wedding advice and stuff! Im currently planning my wedding and I cannot express how helpful her content has been! But to answer your questions about signs, it all depends on your budget and venue. If your venue location is complicated or has complicated parking, you might want to include signs like that. If the building has multiple venues inside of it, a welcome sign would be great to let guests know they're in the right spot. Etc! If you have a larger budget, feel free to dig into all the possible sign options, but Jamie Wolfer is great at walking you thru discovering your priorities for your budget.

Idk If you tried this but floral tape doesn’t really stick or hold well unless you stretch it while you’re applying it. It’ll go from a deep green to a lighter green and become stickier:)

Signs except for photo booth if you do it and for the foods are a waste of money tbh. And be careful about the gifts because I’ve had an experience where the gifts were stolen and cards were stolen even from our family members:/ so just be careful about who will watch them.

Okay, so, I saw that you're already subscribed to her. BUT, she does have a video on wedding signs. :-)
For wedding signs, I've seen on TIkTok that they recommend having the name of the couple and the date, so that you can keep its as a memento. They didn't recommend having it say "welcome to our wedding" or anything like that. That's just what the TIkTok said though lol.
