I found something interesing across these tools: the more hammer they are, the less drill they can do. As an example, the parkside pbh 1050d4 offers only 3 Joules of impact power, but in exchange you get 1100rpm when drilling, rated at 1050watt. This big tool spins at 360rpm but has 25j. I found this to be a good indicator for someone who chooses a tool, based on the personal balance between these two actions. My personal opinion is that drilling at 360rpm with big hammer is going to break some pices that probably you dont want to break or just drill slowly as in the video, so probably i would get a hammer focused tool (if we already are on the 20 joules range) and then get a separate drill with lower impact power but high speed. Very informative video, thank you! :)
3:38 Ahahah honest. Thank you for the review and the sneak peek as usual! My whish list for corded p.performance remains the same: planer, circular saw, sander and most of all a table saw. As far as 20v, perf, I whish for a top handle chainsaw. Let's see how many years will be needed xD
The way the buttons work is a obvious flaw... No one changes gears with the machine running , having to fiddle with one hand while holding down the power switch with the other. I get the idea behind the cord , most machines will have the cords destroyed at that point from all the bending. Having a quick change system could be usefull , but connectors need to be rwally sturdy and cords should be easy to buy for it to work. The power seems there , both drilling and breaking looked like decent power was put out by the machine. It's definitely intended for drilling bigger holes with the low rpm and big impact , which the test showed pretty good. The 25mm didnt really take any longer then the 18mm.
It shows a lot of power, but it doubt it has 25J. The speed selection and soft start kinda indicate they were designing it more for drilling than hammering, the weight says otherwise ;) . Soft start for hammering is a big pain in the a.. In any case, I guess it will do the job, but there are a lot similar DIY machines so I guess the price will be a key factor here. I wait for the 40V to arrive.
Thanks for the clip, i was expecting that A1 like in other cases, it will be good, but has major flaws, the connector it will be broken on the first fall. And the 25J is a joke, nor Bosch or other expensive brands don't get those numbers, maybe is just for the first kick...
A note of caution: I put a cheap SDS Max to Plus adapter collet on this, and when the trigger is pulled it sends the drill bit flying across the room 😮
I bought green one and after some light use it stopped working ,i dusted off brushes but the comutator is black and it sparks with wierd prprprprprrrrrp sound -anyone knows why ? Should i return it ?

So, except a stylish design, a 50watt more power, what is the difference from the 1550watt one of the green line? 25joules obviously is an exaggeration.
you know that there are 1liter 55KM motors and 1 liter 250KM motors? When you guys will learn that power is only the magic which propells another things and they can vary in literally everything?
@dlaczegotakpowazny1474 1600 watts it's 1600 watts ,no more no less. Leave the ice out of it, you don't have to deal with turbos here or anything else. The 2 models have the same mechanism inside the gear box and they only produce 50 watt of difference. In order for the performance to have 25 joules with the same mechanism inside , it should at least be 2500 watts in power. Learn the difference first.
За съжаление няма машина с подобна функционалност от известна марка, с която да я сравня. Всички които предлагат 20J и нагоре са само с функция чук, без такава за ударно пробиване.
they use these stupid membrane button speed control everywhere, because there is lot of super cheap 6 speed brushless drivers wit + - button inputs. Rotary switch is much more expensive. This is reason why they removed even mechanical ON/OFF on their grinders and replaced with membrane buttons.
I don't think it's about the price, but about the dust that destroys the rotary potentiometer. In terms of durability, this potentiometer is much better, but it is impractical
It's some cordless instruments that use brushless motors. They run on low voltage DC electricity. Corded AC instruments use commutated series-wound motors.

At least at my model the connector failed after a few hours of use.

Parkside power instrument ❤❤❤
Cant get any parkside performance tools in Ireland! So frustrating!!
Yes you can, I have loads of them, they even had the 150nm screw gun a few weeks ago
@@johnoreilly4408 both Lidls close to me never get them in. All I've managed to get is the 40v brush cutter and a few 8ah batteries.
It's hard to get the 8ah where I am, you're lucky in that way
@@johnoreilly4408 1st of February the 8ah batteries should be coming into stores.

That's dangerous. Noted.
For 149€ you'll get a beast. At least changing the gear-speed is annoying, but most will stick with Level 6 once it has been selected...
My left ear is very well informed.
I'm waiting for a review of the 40v 10J cordless rotary drill.
Exist something like this?
Hello sir, which company is manufacturer of the 25J Hammer Drill ? :) Thanks in advanced.
Owim GmbH
Thanks a lot of.@@icku
retail price 149 euros france. seems okay ish. seems like Bosch equivalent are around 700 euros on amazon

Return it.

As you predicted at 2:20, the bayonett broke on the 2nd use. Does anybody know where can i get a new cable?

Unfortunately its too damn expensive for a cable...
@@ickuLooks like an IEC computer cable, I'm sure it's easy to make a cable from stuff you already have at home.

Unfortunately i have no access to the 1550 watts version to confirm or deny

No way 25 J at 11 KG ... at least on a hobby tool , this tool will not resist even 5 hours of continous worcking ... hobby with crapy materials

I bought sds max drilling bit and sds max to sds plus adaptor but they do not fit to this hammer drill. Any suggestions!!!
Hmmm. You definitely bought something else. SDS max fits the 25j hammer drill.
Great machine
